After snatching their coats and some reassurance from Wanda, they'd flown to one of the wooded areas of Hyde Park to lay low for a bit. The snow didn't seem to bother her even though her shoes were scattered somewhere in the club. A quiet peacefulness settled on the immediate area as her feet touched the earth, though Isolde could sense that lingering scent of ozone in the back of her brain. "We'll stay here for a bit, let you collect yourself, then find some way home."

Isolde looks mostly human by now, though her eyes are still livid gold, and her teeth are noticeably sharp.

"That wasn't... right. That shouldn't have happened."

"So outbursts like that aren't typical?" Wanda asks, with just a bit of seeking reassurance in her voice.

"I'm not some pup who's just been bitten."

"No, you're not. But you're also the first werewolf I've ever had much interaction with."

"Something pushed me. Someone thought they were being cute."

"Well, they're not here now I'd wager, whoever they were. It doesn't sit well that someone would be pushing you like that in the middle of a crowded club though."

"I have a suspicion as to who, but I wasn't the most articulate while you and her were talking."

Wanda frowns, "Surely not. Why would she?"

"Why would she remove your memory of her? She can, obviously."

"I... don't know," she says, her brow furrowing more.

"Besides, you heard what she was saying about me."

"Nothing I wasn't already aware of. You hunted me, you're not doing that anymore. You're a werewolf... which has some issues, yes... but I knew all of this."

"And that I was dangerous."

"That is something I won't deny, but I'm not one to lose control because some British tart yelled at me."

"But are you dangerous to me? Because I think that was her point."

"I don't harm people unless I mean to, and if I'd meant to harm you, I could have killed you dozens of times over by now."

"You could be playing a long game," she says with a small shrug, "but that doesn't seem like your style." She steps closer to Isolde, obviously a gesture of some sort of trust.

"...I'm sorry we didn't get to really go dancing," she sighs.

"We'll try again. Maybe at a different club." She holds out a hand.

Isolde reaches out her hand, but looks down at it. Her fingers are still tipped by wicked claws, her knuckles frosted with dark hair. She grits her teeth, and the more inhuman features withdraw.

Finally, she clasps Wanda's hand.

Wanda pulls Isolde closer, leaning into her and resting her head on Isolde's shoulder. It's an act of irrevocable trust and a desire to seek comfort for herself as much as to try to comfort Isolde. Oddly enough, despite the chill in the air, Wanda's warm.

"...why are you doing this?" She asks softly.

She seems to be asking herself as much as Wanda.

"Because I feel a need," she responds softly, "And more importantly, I want to."

"...thank you," she murmurs, resting her cheek against Wanda's hair and putting her own arm around her.

Wanda slides her arms around Isolde and just stays that way, allowing the silence to blanket them for a little while. She breaks the silence with a quiet "Happy you took the job?" There's a small smile on her face.

"...yes. More than I thought I would be."

"Good, because I still plan to let you keep it. Shall we go home, guardian?" The wind starts to gather around them.

"...what are you doing?" She quirks a brow in confusion, ears faintly twitching at the wind.

"I'm going to take us home," she says as the wind lifts them into the air. "Or at least as far as I can, then we may have to call an Uber."

"...been practicing, have you?" She asks, tensing a bit as she's lifted.

"What else have I had to do stuck at the school?" She laughs as they lift into the air and start towards the school.
