"What? No! Do not eat the money. I just mean that someone who has this much money should eat better than that."

"You'll have to pick something for me then, because I...really don't get what you mean by 'better'." Will frowned.

"Higher quality. More expensive. We'll get you up to speed on that." she says, although she's not entirely certain about these things herself. But Will doesn't know that. "If you're feeling up to it, go ahead and gather up the money so it doesn't get scattered too much. I'll go freshen up really quick before room service gets here." she says, wiping at the corner of her mouth where some blood has crusted.

That made sense to Will!

So, as Miriam went into the bathroom, he started stacking the bills, to keep them straight and organized.

So it was with a massive stack of cash on the bed that the door rang for room service.

Miriam is still in the bathroom when it does, cleaning herself up. She steps out when is at the door and immediately stops when she sees the big stack of money suspiciously sitting in the middle of the bed. "Damnit..." she hisses under her breath. "Will, hide that!" she whispers while pushing a mental image on her. Something to cover or wrap up the money that wouldn't look out of place. A pillow. A large, money-filled pillow.

Will's eyes glazed over for a second as the suggestion -- no, the command -- washed over her. She somewhat clunkily walked over to the bed and collapsed over it, knocking the carefully piled towers of cash over...and then catching them as she enveloped them, landing with a soft *thump* on the bed.

The pillow was covered with dollar signs, pound signs, euro signs -- tacky, to say the least. But it was, at least, a pillow and not a huge, incriminating stack of cash.


"Room service!" the voice outside the door called.

Miriam rolls her eyes at the choice of pattern on Will's part, but figures it'll do, as tacky as it looks. She walks over to the door and let's the concierge in with the big cart of various food-stuffs.

"Thank you. Over there is fine." she says, indicating a spot for the cart to go as she walks over to the Will-Pillow. "I need something to tip him with." she has the courtesy of warning him before sticking her hand into the pillow and fishing out a single note. A hundred pounds is a bit much, but it's what she has to hand over as a tip.

The bellboy's jaw fell open with the note. "If...if there's anything else you need, be sure to ask for me! Enjoy your stay!" he said, on his way out.

Miriam closes the door behind the bellboy and locks it before heading back into the main room and to the cart full of food.

"Well then, why don't you try some of these. We have... steak in some kind of truffle cream sauce... various sushi... shrimps in oranges apparently? Honey melon with parma ham... oysters and lobster..." she looks over the various things she'd ordered picking up one of the oysters to try herself.

Will slowly changed back into Miriam's chosen form -- with the money missing.

"Lots of seafood there. Are you a fish fan?" she said, walking over to poke at some of the food.

"Somewhat? Everything is kind of bland these days and so I went for things I thought might have a very... distinct kind of taste." she says before an idle glance in Will's direction makes her do a double-take towards the bed. "Uhm... Where is the money?"

"Oh, it's well hidden," she said, patting her belly.

Miriam looks annoyed for a moment, but then her expression softens as she realizes this is probably the safest place she could keep the cash. Inside a 'safe' that could take literally any shape, that responds to her thoughts almost immediately. "That's actually quite clever..." she's forced to admit. "Hold on to it for me, keep it safe."

"Of course, Mnemosyne," she smiled and nodded.

She picked up the plate with the steak and truffle sauce. "Let's see how this goes down," she smiled, moving it to a table.

"Please, go ahead. Just... don't put it in the same place as the money." she chuckles nervously.

"Oh, no no. Don't worry about that.

I was going to put it in my mouth," Will nodded, seriously.

Miriam sighs a little. "Just eat it and don't digest my money."

"Don't worry about that. If I digested it, you couldn't get the same money out! That would defeat the purpose of keeping it safe," Will nodded, digging in to the steak.

"Right. Well, you're carrying around a lot of money now, just... be aware of that."

"...I'm not sure what you mean," Will said.

Or, rather, she said "Mmm nt sure wha yu mnn," with a mouthful of food.

The nice thing about telepathy is that you don't really have to hear people to get what they're saying.

"Just that you should be mindful of it, because I need that money. We need that money."

"What are you going to do with it?" she asked.

"Pay for a place to stay, fancy food and clothes. It'll let us be comfortable."

"Are we staying here, or...?"

"Not for too long, no. Now that we have the money for it we'll go searching for somewhere we can stay more long-term."

"How long is long-term in this case?" Will asked.

"I don't know. The foreseeable future, I suppose."

"So, it's not the next step in a plan, but the final step, then?"

"For the time being, at least."

"ALright! I'm sure you know best," she smiled and nodded.
