But Shari isn't listening for Natalie's linguistic device, she's busy making her way into the arena, blinking her eyes as they shift into ones more suited for the dim lighting and rushing ahead with her laser-gun at the ready.

"Hey, psst, Nat!" she stage-whispers. "Can't you use your computer-mojo to sense where their gear is?"

"But... Alright, fine." She stretches out her senses, losing track of the game around her for a moment. The vests are pretty rudimentary as devices go, but they do need to communicate a central hub. And because they're laser tag vests, no one gives a shit about their communication security. "Two ahead, second opening on the right."

Shari grins and does a completely unnecessary combat roll and blasting away at the two completely startled people.

"Cower before the might of the Skrull Empire!" she laughs.

Natalie shrugs and follows after, taking a few shots at someone who tries to come at them from another direction. "Having fun?"

"Yeah. Not a lot of challenge in it when I can tell where their vests are though." Foreknowledge doesn't mean reflexes though as she turns to level at someone incoming and they beat her to the draw, making her vest buzz.

"Aww dang!" Shari exclaims, spinning around and firing wildly at Natalie's attacker.

The person's vest buzzes in response just as he's drawing a line on Shari. "I can sense the reset," Natalie says, "Have to back up and wait for it. Gun won't work until that happens." Then she whispers, "Another one sneaking around from the left."

"Ha-hah!" Shari startles the guy as she's blasting. And sure, they're cheating a little but it's all in good fun and Shari leans hard into playing the role of, well, Alien Invader and soon they have people running scared. That, combined with Shari's general loudly goofing around soon has people teaming up against them as she continues to play the role of, well, alien invader, getting tagged plenty of times before the lights come on.

Shari leads her to a small park, almost a little wedged between buildings with a small metal gate that's really more decorative. It's a weirdly cozy kind of path, trees and bushes mostly obscuring the sides of the buildings.

"More or less, yeah. Gravity's a big part of the whole 'problem' no matter which way you come at it," she says, adjusting her seating on the bench to be a bit more relaxed.
