"There's a piece of our engine that Ashlie must've stashed away somewhere. It's depleted and broken from when we used it to unexplode the Point, but it should still be somewhere..."

Natalie tilts her head, "That would be handy. I'll have to check the Point's records and see if I can find where she stashed it. She wasn't always 100% forthcoming with information, but it should be stored somewhere." Then she adds, "But that can wait til we get back."

"I don't mind you talking shop, you know?" Shari says, swiveling sideways on the bench, putting her feet on the seat and her head on Natalie's thigh. "It's cool how excited you get about it."

As Shari gets into her new position, there is that half-moment of mental freeze in Natalie's demeanor, but it quickly passes and she smiles, "I know, but I can easily go on forever if you let me."

"Exactly." she grins up at Natalie. "And don't worry, I'll tell you to shut up if you get too boring."

"Good to know." As she relaxes again, she runs a hand lightly across Shari's hair.

Shari's grin settles into more of a soft smile and she closes her eyes.

"This is nice..."

Since that seems to have gotten a reasonable response, she keeps doing it. "Yeah... it is."
