Chase stepped through Gerrard street's Chinatown gate and stopped to take in what, to him, was like just short of stepping into his own dark past.

"This isn't Madripoor," he quietly assured himself before resuming his reconnaissance.

"So, what precisely are we looking for then?" Nailah asks as she looks around in bit of awe. She's been to London a bunch of times but 9 times out of 10 she's in the air or beating up crooks in a backstreet, not taking in the sights from the ground.

"The Chinese character for lotus, drawn inside a red square with an open corner like the tagger ran out of paint," he said, handing her a sketch of the symbol. "It signifies an assassin safe-house, so be careful not to make it obvious you've noticed it."

"Ooh, secret codes. Got it." she says, trying to memorize the symbol. "Are there any others like this with different meanings?"

"None that I think we'll see," he answered cryptically.

"It's not that. They're just mostly assignment code phrases and religious symbols."

"Right, yeah, makes sense. So you're thinking this assassin lady is hiding out around here somewhere still?" she asks as she's looking around, keeping her eyes peeled for secret symbols.

"If not her, a replacement," he nodded as he resumed walking.

"Well... Wouldn't they send any replacements to America then?" she asks, still trying to wrap her head around the story Chase had told her. It had sounded crazy but not crazy enough to not be true.

"Right. And we shouldn't let Assassins have hideouts in the city anyway."

"So, what's the plan once we find the place? Is it just gonna be her or is this like some kinda hidden sleeper cell kinda deal?"

"We don't engage if we can avoid it, but if they see us coming we need to try to catch one before they scatter."

"Probably so," he chuckled, glancing into an alley as they pass.

"Alright. Aerial recon away!" she needlessly exclaims before a couple hurried steps and the beating of wings takes her into the air, quickly rising above the buildings.

Chase, with a little jealousy, watched her fly off before resuming the ground search.

The two spend a good half hour combing the area until Chase finally spots the symbol he's looking for in an alley on the second floor of a building that houses a butcher shop on the ground floor.

Chase moved on casually before he touched his earpiece.

"Found it. Butcher shop. Second floor. Shop is likely a front."

"Will do."

Finding a good vantage point, he settled in for the stakeout.

A good hour passes with nobody but people buying meat going in and out of the butcher shop. He sees no movement behind any of the second story windows.

"Meet me on the roof then."

He climbed up to the rooftops adjacent to the shop and looked for a place from which to leap to its roof.

It takes Nailah a moment to find Chase and the right rooftop before circling down and landing on the roof in a running stop.

Chase was leaning casually against the wall by the access door. "With those wings, I figured you'd beat me here," he chuckled.
