"Oh, I didn't realize you were looking for a show." Miriam sends back, too pre-occupied to keep the smugness and the cocktail of excitement her brain is swimming in out of the message. Most of her attention seems to remains with Wanda though. The buffer around them is shrinking a little as the two are just awash in the masses, moving to the music as the bass reverberates through the crowd like a heartbeat.

"It's nice to see someone with power wield it in a subtle, artistic manner."

Wanda appears to have eyes only for Miriam. A glimpse inside her head shows just how much she trusts Miriam.

Miriam smiles, more at Wanda than Alessia's admiration, really. All mystical mumbo-jumbo aside, she does want to protect her. And if that means keeping her close both physically and mentally then so be it. She's not going to mess with her, but if she's in her head then no one else is going to sneak in there. No one is going to hurt her. For a moment she forgets Alessia entirely (although her praise does go to her head a little) and just let's herself sink into the moment with Wanda. It's hard to tell for how long she keeps dancing in this feeling, but songs change, making the mood on the dance-floor shift ever so slightly, adding different tones to the symphony of emotions around them.

Eventually Miriam slowly pulls them back closer to reality like a diver coming up for air. She gives Wanda one last, lingering kiss. "I think I could use a bit to drink. What about you?"

"Sure," Wanda says, coming down from the contact high. "Wine sounds good, if they have some."

Miriam nods and not much later they head back up to the booth, Miriam with a glass of red wine and Wanda with whatever her preference is.

"Enjoyed the show?" Miriam asks as she sits down, kind of glad to have a comfortable seat after spending who knows how long dancing and on her feet.

"Immensely," Alessia says, relaxing with a glass of red wine of her own. "How did it feel to loosen up?"

"Oh I've done it before. Just not with somebody." she says, running her hand over Wanda's arm affectionately.

"It seemed to work for you," Alessia remarks and Wanda nods her head in agreement.

"It's good for just letting go for a while, live in the moment."

"Live in all the moments, I say," Alessia says, "Otherwise, what's the point?"

"Not all of them are pleasant. But I suppose that's no reason to ignore them..." she says and raises her glass a little before taking a sip.

"To as few unpleasant moments as possible," Alesia says, raising her glass in response.

"I'll drink to that." she nods and clinks her glass against Wanda's and then Alissa's.

Another young woman sticks her head in, looks at Miriam and Wanda and then steps over to Alessia. There's a significant exchange of glances and then the young woman says something to Alessia in a foreign language. Alessia frowns, "Do not be rude. You can tell Nonno that I'm busy. I will see him later." The young woman purses her lips in disapproval, but nods and bows out. Alessia sighs, "My apologies."

"Family business?" Miriam asks curiously, glancing at the young woman as she leaves.

Alessia nods, "Some members of my family are... old fashioned."

"Let me guess, they don't approve of mutants."

"Don't approve of young women being out all night without an escort. Who knows what I might get up to?" She smirks as she drinks more of her wine.

Miriam laughs. "Well I for one would like to find out as well."

Wanda looks slightly dubious with a glance at Miriam, but it's more an 'are you sure' question than any sort of suspicion of Alessia.

"If you don't want to that's fine, I'm not going anywhere without you tonight. But it'd be fun..." Miriam smiles and trails a finger down Wanda's arm.

Wanda seems to give it some thought and then drains the last of her glass of wine. "I suppose it won't hurt anything."

"That is, if I haven't horribly misread our gracious host's intention and she won't join us over here." Miriam says as she scoots a little closer to Wanda and making some room on the couch next to herself.

Alessia stands, moving over to sit next to Miriam, a satisfied smile on her face. If there were words to describe the rest of the evening it would be practiced spontaneity. This obviously didn't seem to be anything new for Alessia and she seems to focus the majority of her attention on Miriam. As the club itself heads towards winding down, Alessia looks at the two of them, "I'm renting a townhouse not far from here. Do you need a place to to stay?"

Miriam is clearly enjoying being surrounded by beautiful women (and the fact that they don't look exactly alike keeps it from being too reminiscent of Trinity) and is set on indulging herself tonight. It takes her a while to notice that the club is beginning to wind down, too absorbed in their own little corner of it even as the music grows a little quieter and the lights are turned up a little. "What do you think? It might beat the hotel..." she purrs at Wanda.

Wanda is holding her drink fairly well, but she shrugs, "I don't mind either. If you want to go with her, we can go with her."

"You heard the lady." Miriam says as she gets up from the couch, wobbling a little bit on her heels for a moment before she steadies herself again. She might not be completely smashed but she's definitely drunk.

Wanda gets up, putting her arm around Miriam. Alessia gets up as well, appearing to be drunk. "Andrew will bring the car around. Shall we go make an exit?" Without waiting for an answer, she helps the other two out. They get more than a few looks, but Andrew is prompt with the car and soon they're on their way. They pull up in front of an unassuming, yet well-to-do townhouse. It's a short flight of steps up to the entrance and then inside. The place is tastefully if a bit blandly decorated. "I apologize for the decor. The place was furnished when I rented it and I haven't had time to redecorate."

"Ah, then how will I ever judge you on your taste? Oh wait, you invited Wanda and me." she chuckles. She's not quite too drunk to walk, but she does kick off her heels once she's inside, leaning on Wanda a bit to make it easier.

"What sort of room would you ladies like? I have several to choose from."

"I'm sure any of them will be just fine. You said you rented this while you're in town?" Miriam asks, slightly shaking her head.

"Not as nice as my place in Italy," she says, slipping out of her own shoes and leading them upstairs to the second floor. "My room is here," she says, tapping the door to an interior room. She opens up one of the other bedrooms, revealing a queen-size bed in a modern style. "Will this suffice?"

"I can only imagine." she says as she makes her way over to the bed and let's herself fall backwards onto the covers, sinking into it a little with a laugh. "This'll do juuuust fine!"

Alessia follows Wanda into the room and leans up to give Wanda a more-than-friendly kiss and then leans over to do the same for Miriam. "Sleep well. If I don't see you tomorrow, know I had a wonderful time."

"Ah... what a night." Miriam smiles, letting herself sink back into the covers after leaning up into the kiss. "Did you have fun?" she asks Wanda.

"Quite a bit of fun," Wanda says, sinking into the bed as well. "Make yourself at home," Alessia says as she head for the door.

Once Alessia closes the door Miriam rolls over on top of Wanda, propping herself up with her arms next to Wanda's head, for a moment enjoying the rare perspective of looking down at the other woman. "I'm glad..." she says quietly before leaning down for a kiss.

Wanda seems content just to lay there, "Did you have fun?" It seems like a silly question, but Wanda's looking for an honest answer.

"Oh absolutely. This is so much better with somebody else..." she smiles. "And who says it's over yet?" she adds with bit of a mischievous smirk.

"Does involve leaving the bed? Because it will need to be good to get me to do that."
