Robin chuckles and sticks her tongue out at Will.

"I... can't imagine how rough it must be. To have that kind of power to be yourselves dozens times over just stop." she says as the goofy facade falls away a bit.

I could feel everything. It started in the plane, where I could feel every single connection between me and the seat underneath -- every, like, cell. Hundreds and hundreds of times more sensitive than...than anything. And it only got more from there. I could feel people through the glass. I could...I could smell their hair color, and feel their words, and touch their perfume. It was incredible, and it was overwhelming, and it was everything. Bobbing along in the ocean, it was like....like I, and the ocean, and the sea breeze and the sun shining down, we were all the same thing. All of us, together; no difference between me and the world around me.

It was almost too much -- and to try to deal with it, I fell apart, and that only made the sensations more potent. And diffused throughout everything. I could feel when Tosh took one card back to the lab. I felt everything in the sample bag, but I could feel outside of that, in his pocket, in the air around him; the sensations of the analyzer in the lab, the little zap of electricity. And I could have ignored it -- I could have stood up to it, but I didn't want too; it felt too good, so I went along with it. And at the same time, I was back here in Scotland, and getting bigger, and there were more and more of me. I could feel the doctor's consternation and annoyance; I could feel Char trembling in the basement. It was...

"Then you just got a taste of it. And now it's gone."

[Will Stanton]

"Because Sam and Tosh felt that this was something to lock up rather than celebrate."

[Robin Stanton]

"Whoa, hey, they did not lock you up because you were feeling good but because they were worried you were overdosing on a drug. Which you were."

[Will Stanton]

"A lot more convenient to let someone else deal with that far from home," Will grouched again. "You can see why I was...less than eager to get on a flight with them."

[Robin Stanton]

"I mean, leaving you here, yeah, that was shitty."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, what's done is done. And I do mean done."

[Robin Stanton]

"Like, friendship ended with Samantha, now Lippincott is my new best friend?"

[Will Stanton]

"Like, I think Lippencott might be the one at the school I can trust the most."

[Robin Stanton]

"Really? The government stooge? I get you're upset but that's harsh..."

[Will Stanton]

"You've said it yourself -- this is a harsher universe."

[Robin Stanton]

"Still. And I really doubt Lippincott is your friend"

[Will Stanton]

"I mean, I never said he was. Most of my friends are a dimension and a few years away. And maybe that's enough."

"Kinda seems like it's not..."

Will just shrugged, a "what ya gonna do" expression on his face, as he boarded the ferry.
