Caged Crow

Sam makes her way into the cafeteria in the less-secure portion of the Muir facilities. There wasn't time or need to run clothes from the Institute over, but she's managed to wrangle a set of scrubs in lieu of a hospital gown. She's bandaged up now, but surprisingly mobile as she starts to load up her tray.

"So they finally let you out of quarantine," said a deep, rough voice as a huge form got in line next to her. Leo hadn't even begun to get used to towering over everyone like they were children. Even speaking was alien to him now, his own voice a stranger.

"Half tempted to ask if they had my old room free."

He was dressed in a very big jacket with a hood that barely fit over his horns, and didn't do much to hide his leonine face.

"One cramped cage is the same as another," he grumbled, though with a haunted look in his orange eyes.
