Nailah storms out of Will's room and makes her way down to the basement and the hospital's morgue. She wordlessly slams the door open and stomps her way through the room until one of the people there stop her.

"Excuse me? What are you--"

"Hazard. I'm here to identify his corpse." she bruskly interrupts the man. She waits not very patiently for them to find the right cooler and pull out Hazard's bullet-riddled corpse. And somehow this does not make her feel any better.

"Yeah. That's him." she presses out. This should be more of a relief. She's rid of him now, isn't she? Not that anything could ever make up for the things he'd done, much less claimed to have committed. And without any chance for him to come after her again her future is fully hers, visions so much less fractured and leading her towards whatever she wants. And yet. Janice put off her invitation and it feels kind of like her volunteering to help Jez and Katarina put them on pause somehow? It doesn't feel great. And reaching out to Will did not exactly go great. And now Hazard's pale face is blankly staring up at her and has the audacity to look scared. Like he's somehow managed to twist the knife still.

"Damnit!" her voice echos in the basement room, followed by the loud clatter of Nailah swiping a kidney bowl and the instruments inside of it across the floor. "Why's he look like this!?" she demands of the poor mortician who can only offer a weak shrug to the angry sphinx. "Make sure you cremate him. Maybe scatter his ashes to the four winds, make sure he's not trying some kind of bullshit somehow..."
