Sean chuckled to himself.

"It's easy to see conspiracies with the Fey given their reputation, but if one of them made that happen on purpose they are beyond clever," Sean said wryly.

"Even if they did, they're unlikely to tell even me that they did."

"They dont trust you?" Sean asked.

"Trust has nothing to do with it. The fey guard their secrets closely. And fooling the Grey Lords into their own demise would certainly qualify as a secret."

"Fair enough," Sean said, "I just assumed you'd be in on such a secret as you're the ladys peotector."

"I'm an interested party, nothing more. My role as the Lady's protector was only temporary. The world could ill afford to risk losing her to madness."

"No knights to test then? No girdles to bestow?" Sean asked. "Simply back to the Green Chapel to wait for your powers to be needed? Seems like a very lonely existence."

"Not loneliness as you'd understand it," he says, "And you may underestimate how often my powers are needed."

"Perhaps," Sean said, "I'm still catching up with how often I go along on missions with the X-Men. The threats seem to never end."
