Trev, still in his armor as to be honest he didn’t really know how to start taking it off, strode over to the bed and took a seat. “How are you feeling?”

“Good...” he sighed, finally crashing from the adrenaline rush of the fight. “...that was scary....the fight I guess too, but...seeing you hurt was much worse.”

"I... don't know what my future's going to be like. Staying in your world isn't healthy for me as I am. I don't know if I'll be allowed to return across the Veil. I struck the daughter of the Lady, so I don't know how the Lady will deal with that. There's... a lot of uncertainty around me right now."

Trev looked like he’d just been punched in the gut, and his shoulders slumped. He opened his mouth to start saying something but wasn’t quite sure how to make sound let alone words come out.

“I’m not missing a second with you,” he sniffled, “even if you’re sleeping.”

“....how do I even start to take this armor off?” he asked after almost trying to lean in for an embrace but being stopped by the metal.

"Come here," she says, tugging him closer and fidgeting with the straps. Finally, she manages to get the parts off so that he can get to the rest himself. "There really should be more taught in your schools."

“I’d rather have learned about wearing armor than calculus, that’s for sure,” he smiled as he started to undo the armor himself, finally getting the last pieces off a few minutes later.

“....so your mother knows about me, eh?” he asked laying on the side of the bed and patting the bed next to him.

She smirks at his cheeks reddening. "Not *everything*. I was allowed to keep some details to myself if she didn't ask and she knew better than to ask."

This seemed to relax him a little bit, and he returned a small smile, “Okay. That...makes me feel slightly better about my chances of being turned into a frog or something while I’m here.”
