"Wasn't the phone," she groans as she gets up.

"It was what was on it."

"I hate this magic non-sense." she restates, dropping the phone back where she found it as if just touching it was unpleasant.

"You and me both," Tosh said.

Looking to Isolde he asked, ''Why would he even set this up? He couldn't have been that certain you'd find out about the attack and come looking."

"He'd warned me he was about to do something, and I doubt he cared about collateral damage."

"Any chance that's the only trap in here?" he asked, casting a suspicious glance around the room.

"It likely wasn't there just for spite."

Nothing else looked particularly dangerous. There was a lot of silver now stuck in the walls though.

"You know... You probably really shouldn't have dove in front of me." Nailah tells Isolde. "But thanks."

"I can take most things better than you," she shakes her head.

"Still on edge with this much silver around, so we should probably make this quick..."

"Right. Back to the clue hunting," he said before moving to poke around.

Aside from the chest, the spherical projectile device in it, the phone, and the speaker, nothing else here really looked out of place. Most of the furniture seemed to be in decent repair, if worn from use. On the mantle was a row of pictures, almost a sequence of life, showing a young man and woman slowly growing older through time. The bed in the bedroom was made and there was two small rows of books on shelves on either side of the bed. They had the air of journals and not printed volumes.

Having wandered into the bedroom, Tosh looked for the most recent journal and the most recent entries in that.

The entries themselves were pretty mundane. The journals on one side of the bed seemed to be mostly reflections on the nature around the house. The other set of journals seemed to be mostly observations on being at peace and how nice that was.

"Anybody else find anything?" he called out, "'Cause I got jack."
