[Relationship] Under The Stars

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza leaned back against the battlement and looked up at the stars, smiling at the small bottle in her hand. During dessert, she'd discovered, much to her surprise, that whatever Nimue was serving was making her a little buzzed. Not very buzzed, but pleasantly tipsy. After a bit, she'd excused herself and wandered up the battlements with the bottle, just sipping occasionally and enjoying the sky.

"Not your style, huh?" Sam asks as she emerges onto the battlements.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Just needed some open air, that's all," she says with a lazy smile. "I would have assumed Nimue would be bending your ear about something or other."

"There was a bit of that, but I seem to be blissfully unconnected to the intrigues she juggles."

"By design, I suspect."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Probably not wanting to lean on the Morrigan unless she really needs it, even if you are dating her daughter."

[Samantha McManus]

"There was some sort of... parting between their people and me. Sometimes I remember it more clearly than others."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Does that bother you?" Tereza asks, taking another sip from the bottle.

[Samantha McManus]

"Maybe? It'd certainly be simpler if I could remember everything."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Occasionally more complicated maybe," she shrugs, "But all we can deal with is the now... which is pretty sweet."

[Samantha McManus]

"I guess you're right. I do like what we've got now, a lot."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza takes another sip from the bottle, "I'm glad... I was going to say more than you know, but you probably already know, right?" She laughs.

[Samantha McManus]

"There are worse things than knowing when you're pleased, aye?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Like knowing when I'm pissed," Tereza chuckles, "Though I'm not sure whether that's better for you or for me. Or maybe just good for all of us." Her gaze tracks back to the stars and she leans back, relaxed.

"I'll take just not being the cause, for once."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza holds out the bottle to Sam, "I think we can drink to that."

[Samantha McManus]

"What sparkling rocket fuel did you manage to smuggle out?" She smirks, giving it a sniff.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Not sure what it is," Tereza admits, "But it's really good." The drink itself smells fruity but that smell can't hide the obvious alcohol scent.

[Samantha McManus]

"Smells a bit like vodka, so I think I see the appeal."

She takes a swig before passing it back.

[Tereza Rozanov]

The drink burns a little, but warms as well and the aftertaste is sweet. "And I can actually feel the drink," she smiles.

"Does that mean we're going to have to figure out how to get this stuff across the veil?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm not sure it's worth *that* much trouble, but while we're here..." She grins.

[Samantha McManus]

"It's probably geared to get even a bear drunk," she chuckles.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I'm sure Viv could probably tell us what it is. She may be trying to figure out where we are now."

[Samantha McManus]

"Think she'll have trouble now that we're bathed?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I can try calling to her if you like."

[Samantha McManus]

"Might be better if you do. I don't want to test this just yet," she says as she holds up the hand with the ring on it.

Tereza smiles and closes her eyes, reaching out through the bond. This isn't something she does often, especially with Vivienne away, but she gives a gentle tug. "Sweetie, we're outside and would like you to join us." She's not sure the words carry, but hopefully they help make the intent less urgent.

Once Tereza and Sam had wandered off the conversation with her mother became less formal. They parted ways with a hug and Vivienne began her "hunt" for her girlfriends, following a strong inclination to head to the ramparts.

"Ah. There you are."

"Didn't think we were that hard to find," she chuckles.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Sam was wondering what was in this," Tereza says, offering the bottle to Vivienne. "I'm just enjoying drinking it."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"I believe this bottle is fae fruits grown in the soil here. Very possible the "something extra" is a touch of magic."

[Samantha McManus]

"So it'd probably just strip paint if we took it across the veil."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Or just become really old exotic fruit vinegar."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"All the more reason to enjoy our time here," Tereza grins, offering Viv the bottle.

[Samantha McManus]

"Pity I'm not going to be able to get my phone to work long enough for the rare photo of you drunk," she sticks out her tongue.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Just have to burn it into your brain with other memories then," Tereza growls playfully.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Sorry Samantha love. No pictures, it never happened." She winked and smiled at the pair.
