Tereza leaned back against the battlement and looked up at the stars, smiling at the small bottle in her hand. During dessert, she'd discovered, much to her surprise, that whatever Nimue was serving was making her a little buzzed. Not very buzzed, but pleasantly tipsy. After a bit, she'd excused herself and wandered up the battlements with the bottle, just sipping occasionally and enjoying the sky.

"Not your style, huh?" Sam asks as she emerges onto the battlements.

"Just needed some open air, that's all," she says with a lazy smile. "I would have assumed Nimue would be bending your ear about something or other."

"There was a bit of that, but I seem to be blissfully unconnected to the intrigues she juggles."

"Occasionally more complicated maybe," she shrugs, "But all we can deal with is the now... which is pretty sweet."

Tereza takes another sip from the bottle, "I'm glad... I was going to say more than you know, but you probably already know, right?" She laughs.

"Like knowing when I'm pissed," Tereza chuckles, "Though I'm not sure whether that's better for you or for me. Or maybe just good for all of us." Her gaze tracks back to the stars and she leans back, relaxed.

"What sparkling rocket fuel did you manage to smuggle out?" She smirks, giving it a sniff.

"Not sure what it is," Tereza admits, "But it's really good." The drink itself smells fruity but that smell can't hide the obvious alcohol scent.

"Smells a bit like vodka, so I think I see the appeal."

She takes a swig before passing it back.

The drink burns a little, but warms as well and the aftertaste is sweet. "And I can actually feel the drink," she smiles.

"Might be better if you do. I don't want to test this just yet," she says as she holds up the hand with the ring on it.

Tereza smiles and closes her eyes, reaching out through the bond. This isn't something she does often, especially with Vivienne away, but she gives a gentle tug. "Sweetie, we're outside and would like you to join us." She's not sure the words carry, but hopefully they help make the intent less urgent.

Once Tereza and Sam had wandered off the conversation with her mother became less formal. They parted ways with a hug and Vivienne began her "hunt" for her girlfriends, following a strong inclination to head to the ramparts.

"Ah. There you are."

"Sam was wondering what was in this," Tereza says, offering the bottle to Vivienne. "I'm just enjoying drinking it."
