Tosh approached the village carefully and quietly, heading for the window of the hut Fionn was letting them use. Getting caught skulking in at out wouldn't look good. It would be sad to avoid killer reptiles only to get tossed in the dungeon or worse.

Most of the warriors were asleep, but a fire still burned in one hut.

He made for the window of their borrowed hut and was about to haul himself inside when ill advised curiosity took hold of him. Quietly, he crept over to the lit hut to peek inside.

Finn Mac Cool sat there, staring into the fire.

Well, more accurately, he was staring at his hand, which he had thrust into the fire, the flames lapping at his flesh, as he sat there, stoically.

He didn't seem to notice Tosh yet.

He kept watching, intrigued where likely anyone of that time would be awestruck and/or terrified.

Finn took his hand out of the fire the skin regenerating and reforming as it went. He watched as it regrew sinews, tendons and skin, and then stuck his still reforming thumb in his mouth, biting and looking contemplative.

"They've been touched by the Morrigan..." he mused. "Where the hell have you been hiding, old crone..." he said, talking to himself.

And then, without looking, he threw a flaming log straight towards Tosh!
