Tereza's foot starts tapping idly as she begins to fidget. "Is it warm in here?"

"You already made sure I'm sufficiently ventilated," she smirks.

"You can't be getting hot this early, we haven't even tried dancing."

"Sure," she says, licking her teeth as she scoots out and stands.

"Didn't have to ask you twice," Sam laughs, taking Tereza's hand and leading her out onto the floor.

"Well, I did promise we would at least try dancing," Tereza says, still looking around nervously as they move away from the relatively 'safety' of the table and out to the open floor.

"You'll do fine," Sam says, tugging Tereza along eagerly.

"The only one you have to please here is you," she reassures as she starts to move to the beat.

Tereza starts moving as well, trying to play off Sam. She's more graceful than even Sam might have expected and she seems to lock into something in the music.

"You're a natural," Sam smirks, draping a hand on Tereza's shoulder.

Tereza slides her opposite hand around Sam's waist, closing her eyes a bit as her head bobs in time with the music. "Natural is good. I'll take it."

"Not that hard to get you to relax and enjoy yourself," Sam smiles, leaning in close to say it.

Tereza inhaled deeply and opened her eyes, leaning to give Sam a kiss on the cheek without breaking her dancing motion. "Just have to be in the right circumstances."

Other bar patrons. Sweat. Beer. Liquor. Sam. Sam. Right near her. Warm. Thumping beat. Sam's pulse thumping in the hand on Tereza's shoulder.

"Feels about right to me," Sam says, pulling a little closer as she curls her fingers over Tereza's shoulder.

Tereza actually audibly growls before she seems to catch herself. "Yes, very right."

"I suppose I can forgive you this time," she chuckles, looking up to meet Tereza's gaze before darting in for a kiss on the lips.

That seems to actually surprise Tereza, but not unpleasantly so. She wraps her arms around Sam and pulls her close in a hug that borders on crushing.

Tereza's felt this kind of runner's high before, but tonight it's reaching a new fever pitch. Her heart is pounding, new energy flowing into her restless limbs.

"I don't think you realize just the sort of challenge you're taking on." She keeps dancing, becoming more primal in her movements, moving from letting Sam lead to leading herself.

"Oh, I've barely gotten started," she laughs, matching Tereza move for move. It turns out it's not that hard for a telepath to anticipate these things, and Sam has a few moves of her own besides.

For a moment, it seems like Tereza's hair is slightly longer and fuller than it was before, but a second look and it must have just been a trick of the dance floor lights. She dances even more energetically to match Sam.

"I'd better make a good case for it then," she laughs, trying out some more athletic and sudden moves to keep Tereza on her toes.

While Tereza may not have Sam's telepathic anticipation, she still manages to hold her own, mostly following Sam through moves if not exactly in counter to them.

It almost does feel like being in the Danger Room, at least the way Sam is dancing now, and how it's getting Tereza worked up. A fight is a dance. A dance can be a fight.

As Sam brings one of her hands up, Tereza grabs her wrist, spinning her so that Sam's back is against her. She inhales deeply and then seems to try to clear her head.
