"You're saying nobody would dare drug someone in here? Because she doesn't look like she's all there," she gestures to Wanda.

Meanwhile Miriam does not give a shit about how things are done. She's pushing her way through the crowd towards the man.

The sight of the approaching angry telepath apparently gives him enough impetus to start moving again despite the command, but he leaves Wanda behind. Wanda, for her part, looks disappointed, but doesn't follow him.

Erica frowns at what's happening, but doesn't respond to Sam. Sam does catch a flicker of purple light in her eyes.

"Hey!" Miriam yells again and this time it's accompanied by trying to just disrupt the man's thoughts.

The man reaches up to grab his head, turning to glower at Miriam. He's good looking, if you're into that sort of thing, although the extended fangs are really marring his whole mystique.

"This is getting ridiculous..." she mutters. "Wanda! Get away from that creep!" she decides to change tactics. Partially because she's not really sure what she's supposed to do once she catches up to the guy.

Wanda seems really suggestible right now and scuttles away from the man, bumping into Tereza who has finally managed to make her way through the crowd. The man glances at Tereza and gasps a single word in some foreign language, "Lupo mannara." He gives Miriam another hate-filled glance and begins pushing for the door, sliding through the crowd and leaving Wanda, Miriam, and Tereza behind.

"Was that... bloody hell, was that a vampire?"

"It would appear so," Erica says, frowning as she begins pushing through the crowd to head towards the commotion.

"Oh come no, don't be ridiculous. That's just some telepathic creep picking up girls at a bar. I could do that."

"No, this... this makes sense with what I was feeling," Sam says as she makes her way over.

"Of course it would..."

Wanda's mind was under some sort of influence. It certainly resembled a telepathic suggestion.

Erica frowns as she looks around at the people who are staring at the scene, "Come with me. I'll let you use one of the empty VIP rooms so you can be less disruptive. No charge."

"Maybe we should," she says, looking to Wanda and Tereza.

Miriam stares in the direction the telepathic creep left in and frowns. "Fine... Asshole's probably gone by now anyway."

"I can go try to hunt him," Tereza says, her eyes going briefly golden for a moment.

"More important to keep Wanda safe."

Tereza looks a little disgruntled about that, but nods.

"Are you feeling okay?" Miriam asks, falling in next to Wanda as they make their way through the club.

"I..." She blinks, "Why am I not at the bar? How did I get here? I was at the bar, talking to this perfectly nice guy and..." She trails off in confusion again.

"...wasn't all that nice. We're going someplace a little quieter to talk about it with the owner."

The VIP room is... well... a VIP room. Somewhat shielded from the noise of the dance floor, but not exactly 100% secure either. 'Controlled access' seems to be the name of the game. The area has a curved, comfortable-looking couch surrounding a low table. As they reach the area, Erica snags a serving person and has a forceful whispered conversation with her that amounts to "Bring them whatever they want" in the server's assessment of things. As Tereza takes position outside, Erica crosses her arms, "I'm really very sorry about this."

"I'd hope so. Any chance that somebody knows who that guy is?" she asks, one hand on Wanda's upper arm.

"Wanda, you don't have any like... marks on you from the other night, do you?"

"No..." Wanda says, though she's still pretty confused about how they got to where they got.

"Unlikely, but I'll ask," Erica says, "He may have showed the bartender some identification, though seeing what he did to your friend he may have just convinced the bartender he had done so."

"He's not a vampire. Come on."

"He hissed at Tereza like she kicked his mum!"

"That's because she looks like she'd kick somebody's mum."

"She has a point," Erica says, "He said something before he left. Did either of you catch it?"

"I couldn't quite hear. Sounded Italian."

"Mannara or something."

Erica wrinkles her nose, "Well, if it was Italian, he said 'werewolf'."

From her guard position, Tereza snorts.

"Of course he did." Miriam says, rolling her eyes. "Am I the only one here who thinks people are reading a little much into these things?"

"I'm reading nothing into them at the moment. I'm accepting things at their face value," Erica says with a scowl in Tereza's direction.

"Hey now, she's not the one who tried to cart Wanda off."

"My apologies, I've had some bad associations in the past," she says with a polite nod at Sam.

Wanda seems to be watching the conversation and leans over to whisper to Miriam, "Did I screw something up?"
