"The Lotus might not care about politics, but we're not idiots... He looked like Admiral Rothrakov, that's all I can tell you..."

"They had powers. I'll admit that my knowledge on Russian programs might be a little dated, but at that age I'd think I'd know of them..."

Tereza can't help herself, "You were in the programs?"

"...once," she sighs.

"Before I told them what would happen if they came looking for me."

"The only way this makes sense is if they aren't with Russia and think you know too much," Chase said to Weikun. "Something Yin and the rest of the Lotus doesn't."

"I told you all I know... They hired us for a ludicrous amount of money. When you screwed everything up they didn't even seem to care about the money, just demanded a different target. And then this... I have no idea what happened to Yin."

"The tip I got was from a reliable source. If they've been bought, I'll take care of it," she says to Chase.

She turns back to Tereza.

"...I'm afraid I'm part of the reason they want you so badly."

Tereza narrows her eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I was one of the first in the programs. They didn't take me leaving without a fight. It left a gap in their operational capability."

"They want you because they hope you're like me. If they can't have you, it wouldn't surprise me if a little girl is born who looks very much like you and me."

"They took a lot. You'll have to be more specific," Tereza says. Sam begins to get the impression that Tereza's starting to feel caged.

"They told me my body was changing. They might have been right, from what I've experienced since. So they told me it was a precaution."

"But if my suspicions are right, they took you and your sister from me."

"I assumed you were only doing it begrudgingly to begin with, but I guess now I know who you really did it for." For a woman who got her ass kicked and is at the mercy of her would-be killer she is sure being smug.

Weikun groans, whether it's out of pain or at the sappy notion isn't entirely clear. "I'm beginning to regret helping you. But if you promise you'll let me go I'll tell you where the Admiral's quarters are. Dragging me out of the country would probably backfire on you anyway." she says in a tone that suggests she'd do her best to try and screw them over.

"Why don't you go ask them then." Weikun snaps back at him, leaning up a little too fast and sinking back down with a sharp draw of air through her clenched teeth.

"For supposedly being so much better off you sure don't do anything with your 'freedom'..." she add, muttering mostly to herself.

"I won't lie. In some ways, I don't think I'll never be free of the Lotus. Not entirely. But if not for what freedom I've gained, you'd probably be dead right now. This so-called Admiral most likely planned to off you whether you succeeded or not."
