Xaviers!

The larger shape starts to break apart, still casting the shadow of a raven but with light peeking through here and there until it becomes evident it's not one gargantuan bird at all.

It's a flock.

The flock descends, crossing the Channel.

"Well, that is just unnecessarily grandiose. She's going to get all the Outsiders in a frenzy. Now you know one of the reasons why I was so cautious around her. "

"Do what she likes," Tereza says, smiling at the oncoming flock.

"Obviously, and now every Fey Outlander within a thousand miles will go into hiding." She threw a rock across the lake.

"I am going to have to wait months before I will be able to pick up her trail again."

"What?" Tereza glances at Vivienne, sitting down in a distinctly canine pose.

"My mother, the Lady Nimue, has been banished for her interference and defiance towards the Grey Lords, she has in her possession my birthright. The Lords have given me leave to find her. I am Lady of the Lake in name and names have power, their hold is slipping and they do not know it yet." She glared at the ravens.

"Though, I suppose now it no longer matters how long it takes to find her."

Tereza actually looks sad and then back at the oncoming crows, "We find her."

As the flock crosses the Channel it spreads out, some circling around while others wheel further out.

As any given bird draws within sight, there is a brief, barely coherent feeling. A word. Not always the same word.

"Where?"

"Protect."

"Need."

Tereza whines a little and cringes slightly at the dissonance. "I'm here, I'm safe," she tries to think to the oncoming flock.

Three of the ravens break off and start circling above Viv and Tereza.

"Real?"

"Feels right."

"Wrong before..."

"Shall I lend you Fey Sight." Vivienne offered with a mischievous flash in her eye.

"Taunt her?" Tereza questions with a shake of her shaggy head. "Wrong about what?"

The birds caw at Viv's presence.

"Hilldweller."

"Deserter."

"Promise-breaker."

They start to refocus on Tereza.

"False wolf."

"No-mind."

"Pain."

"All the lights go out."

"All the lights go out."

"All the lights go out."

"Not good," Tereza says, growling. "I am here. I am safe. I will be home soon. You should rest." Her thoughts try to be soothing, which is difficult with her wolf running as high as she is.

Vivienne mumbles, "Lake dweller, Slave, Oathkeeper."

It comes from all sides. As if from every bird.

"...hurry."

The flock starts retreating.

"Need a lift, can't shift back." Tereza thinks after the retreating flock.

"The impatience of a mortal." She stood, dark eyed and blue-green.

"Shall we see just how far the leash extends?" She spoke as she stepped back into the water.

"What?" Tereza tilts her head at Vivienne, obviously not comprehending.

"I was forbidden from setting foot in England in the past. However, if I am to conduct a thorough and efficient search, I must search every Fey touched location. There are too many within the boarders of the island to ignore."

Tereza trundles into the water, "Go."

The waters rose around them once more, this trip was a little rougher and actually took a little longer. More along the lines of old creaky turn of the century elevator that just didn't want to "go", in the end it did and as the water fell the scent of the school would sweep past Tereza's nose.
