Furies and the Slaughterhouse

Night has fallen over Los Angeles by the time Katarina goes to meet up with the investigative reporter and though a lot of the city is lit up from dusk until dawn, the docks not so much. The place Ryn had directed the both of them to is across the street from what looks to be a dilapidated repair shop. The lone car parked along the road isn't very inconspicuous but there's not much Pedro can do about that. And as it stands, there doesn't seem to be any need to avoid suspicion. No other activity seems to be going on and other than the intermittent streetlights there are only a couple dim lights illuminating the front of warehouses and light industrial buildings.

It's to this desolate but seemingly calm street that Katarina arrives. And true to Ryn's word, she's being tailed by two shadows moving across rooftops. They're keeping their distance and most people wouldn't even notice them, but Katarina has been living with someone who has a tendency to even just accidentally jumpscare her. And trying to spot Ryn while she's drifting through blindspots and the nebulous periphery of her eyes has taught her where to look. And the two Furies are not []i]quite[/i] as stealthy as their little sister, casting a taller and broader silhouette respectively and lacking that frayed cloak of darkness that blends Ryn's form into the surrounding darkness.
