The fire between them crackles, casting light on the clearing as they stand at the edges.

"You called me here. What do you want?"

She glances at the throne, "We can't keep fighting like this. Enemies have come to harry us."

"It was only a matter of time." She nods in agreement.

"And we can't help protect the pack if we're busy fighting each other."

"I assume you are getting to a point,"she says dubiously.

"I need you listen to me. I'm best equipped for this. I need you to trust my judgment."

She laughs bitterly, "Seriously? You want me to submit to you? I thought you wanted a partner." She turns, "Call me again when you're serious."

She crosses the clearing in a blink, grabbing her counterpart before she can leave, "No, we have to..." The fist catches her on the side of the head, sending her tumbling into the throne, knocking it over. She scrambles back to her feet. "Happy now?"

"Not yet, but I will be," she says, cracking her knuckles and advancing, grinning broadly.
