The ice construct moved up to support Shatterstar, cracking into two different figures, each rapidly reaching the size of the previous construct.

"You all saw Haywire's... minion Thresher when he tore up your boat. He rarely leaves the base himself but... he does not turn into a shark himself." she admits, the glow subsiding a little bit. "At least not as far as we know!" she quickly adds.

"You better have a damn good explanation as for what's going on here. Or why you were on a boat belonging to a country that no longer exists."

"...wait, what? The UK may not be pleasant, but it bloody exists."

"...in spite of UKIP's best efforts."

"Anyway, we're not this... Order or whatever. Do we look like they put spikes in our brains? I mean, you can check us, aye?"

"To be fair, they DID put a spike in my brain," Will said, helpfully.

"...no longer exists?" Haley asked, the spooky Galadriel effect fading away quickly.

"Great Britain collapsed, along with the rest of the European Union. The Order controls the parts of it that aren't an inhospitable wasteland until we can take it back." she says, keeping her eye on Will. He doesn't appear to be spiked right now, but she didn't get to where she is by assuming the best.

"...okay, assuming there aren't any hidden cameras and a show host waiting to laugh at us, we're... ah..."

"...not from around here, I think."

"So not only is time travel a thing, now alternate universes are a thing? Seriously?" Haley grumbled, resting her head against Tosh's shoulder.

"It's more common than you think!" Will said, nodding cheerfully.

"A world without The Order..." she says, almost a bit longingly. "At least until now. Looks like Conduit found a way to spread the love around."

"Well, sounds like Iike we need them to get back home," she grumbled. "But hopefully we can do some damage to them before we leave."

"I guess we should report to... not my roommate up there."

Shatterstar quirks an eyebrow. "You know her? In your world?" she asks, sounding amused. "Well Admiral? Care to debrief our visitors?"

One of the constructs eyes glowed briefly as it said, "I would love to. Take them to the ready room. I'll be there shortly. And have someone dispose of that helicopter. We can't take any chances if Conduit was on that ship." With that, the construct melded together again and took up it's position near the tower and the admiral disappeared from the bridge window.

"I know... someone who looks a lot like her and has ice powers, at least."

"You heard the Admiral!" she barks at the flight crew on deck. "Strip that thing of it's useful mechanical parts and then dump it overboard. Chop chop!"

Turning around to the group of strangers she tilts her head towards the carrier's superstructure. "Very curious. Come on, I'll take you to the ready room."

WIll frowned, looking back at the helicopter. "That seems massively unnecessary."

"Only until you lose a dozen men and a perfectly fine plane 'cause you loaded a bunch of missiles onto it that that little freak had her fingers on. Or was in the rough vicinity of. No technology that monster has been near is your friend."

Sam nods to Shatterstar and starts heading where indicated.

"I disagree! The computers and I were having a great talk before she came in there and stuck a doohicky on me," Will protested, following along behind Sam.

"Well that was... super terrifying," Tosh laughed nervously beside Sam. "And another universe? Seriously? I just got back from the 2nd century or something! Last night!"

Shatterstar can only stare at Will with a wide eye as he cheerfully heads for the ready room.
