In a way.

Her presence takes hold and for a moment it seems like she just explores the reaches of Siberia's power. Then there's a sudden crack in her mind and deep down in the bowels of the ship it's answered by a similar one. Followed by another and another until a human shape, still blue from hypothermia and carrying a second, smaller shape shoots up from inside the ship, coming out from the impact-crater left by Thresher. The smaller shape shrinks even more and takes to the air itself on feathered wings while the other slams into Thresher's mech with a decade of pent-up anger driving her, tearing right through the arm-cannon like a human bullet.

The blast wave sent Bruce flying back through the water. He simply floated there in a profound daze as the submarine sped away. Once he could move again and orient himself, he swam after the enemy. Residual disorientation made him much slower than usual, but he was recovering.

Siberia views the deck as stray shots from the chain gun thunk into the ice or whiz through the space as it punctures through a thinner part of the ice. She folds her hands behind her back and looks out with such a grim look that some of the remaining bridge crew forget their panic to watch. After what seems like a long time, but in reality is only a few seconds. Without turning around, she speaks just loud enough for the bridge crew to hear her over the tumult outside, "Clear the bridge. Any crew that remain should prepare to abandon ship."

"Admiral..."

"That's an order, sailor. Execute it or I will execute you for insubordination." The sailors didn't need to be told twice as they started scrambling down the stairs out of the superstructure. Siberia sighs, looking up at the winged figure in the air, "I always knew a redhead would be the death of me." With that, she steps into the ice in front of her. Outside, the ice that had guarded the superstructure ripples and reforms and a giant form made out of ice stands up like someone standing from a throne. The telepaths in the area could probably feel Siberia's consciousness infusing the entirety of the construct as it turns towards the onrushing kraken.

The frostbitten figure that wrecked the mech's cannon hovers in the air, a small bird fluttering around her and landing on her shoulder. She seems sluggish, eyes unfocused and slow to follow the struggling mech. She seems to be winding herself up for another ramming attack when the sound of the carrier's superstructure being torn apart by the forming ice construct distracts her and the bird, inadverntantly giving Thresher a moment to right himself.

At the same time on the aircraft carrier utter chaos is breaking out. People and cavemen are running everywhere, sometimes fighting, sometimes putting aside their differences to abandon ship. Some lifeboats are still functional while others take their chance with the water. The whole ship jerks violently when the giant squid slams into it, pulling itself on top of the deck. It's a miracle that it isn't sinking immediately between the extensive damage, the huge ice figure as well as the giant squid. Metal groans pretty much constantly but for now the carrier holds. On top of the Squid, nestled against it's head is a big structure. Weapon pods along it's side snap open as tentacles reach out for the giant ice statue.

Tosh manages to follow the squid at a distance and even as most of it is pulling itself on top of the carrier there's enough of it hanging into the water for him to climb up on, if he so chooses.

The hovering figure turns her head just in time to see the projectile heading her way and the next moment she's enveloped in exploding ordinance as it detonates on impact. A couple seconds pass and when the smoke finally clears she's still floating there. Blood is trickling from her eyes and nose from her power withstanding the impact. The bird on her shoulder chirps and flies away as she hurls herself at the mech. With less force this time, just trying to slam into it and push it down towards the clashing figures below.

The kraken doesn't seem to care that the sharp ice is cutting into it's tentacles as they snag around the towering figure. Dark blue blood stains the ice as it holds on and pulls itself closer. The fist meets less resistance than one might hope, the creature's flexible body absorbing a lot of the blow, but it still tears the skin. At the same time the weapon pods fire, countless small rockets flying out and carpeting the ice construct. Where more than a couple hit, ice breaks away but it's superficial damage for the most part.

Bruce's climb is slow but steady, the rubbery skin proving easy grip for his claws and the bridge seems to not be under attack by the giant ice statue at this exact moment. It's terrifying to climb towards it, especially with the entire creature shifting and bobbing underneath him but he does finally manage to get to one of the airlocks of the bridge.

The rest of the fleet is in shambles. Ships are sinking, the submarine is taking on water from where it was forced to steer into their own depth charges. The carrier is the only one that's not in varying states of disappearing among the waves and it's being occupied by a fight between an ice statue and a giant squid. Life boats are being let down and even in all the chaos and fighting, some still manage to get away. Among them Will and Sam, the boat heading for the supply ships that had broken away earlier. Some are sinking from being struck by torpedoes but a number of them remain.

The giant squid is strong, as evidenced by the fact that one of the construct's arms is beginning to crack at the shoulder as it tears on it with it's numerous tentacles. It's ignoring all defense though and Tereza's blade of ice stabs deep into the creature and comes out with a big squall of purple blood.

Inside the command-unit Bruce is slowly making his way through the swaying structure. It's meant to sit relatively stable under water, not bounce around on the squid like some kind of demented bouncy castle. He does finally make it to the bridge (not that the structure is that huge, it mainly seemed to house the giant mech). Conduit is sitting in the captain's chair, a number of cavemen are sitting at consoles but it seems to be mostly her directly controlling everything at this point. Several monitors are cracked and smoking, red warning lights are flashing everywhere but one of the screens is showing large missiles being loaded into the weapon pods to replace the numerous smaller explosives. Conduit does not seem to notice anybody entering, she's too focused on who knows how many things, instructing the squid, controlling the weapon systems and making the fleet tear itself apart. She looks more manic than usual.

Thresher manages to shake off the figure but she just seems to zip in close again immediately, pushing against the thrust of the boosters. The machine seems to be slowly winning though.

As the arm breaks free of the construct, it seems to take on a life of its own, becoming more fluid and oozing across and through the tentacles as it looks to jam itself into the largest wound, trying to get into the creature itself and tear it apart from the inside. The chest of the construct erupts, large ice shards launching forward like unguided missiles to keep the creature focused on it. The construct is healing, replacing lost material, but not at the rate it's losing/using it.

"Sure th--" is as far as Conduit gets before she's interrupted by Bruce and the control room suddenly erupts in sparks and short-circuits. It's not shutting down everything but enough that the Squid goes feral, disregarding the bridge mounted on it and lurches forward to envelop the thing hurting it. Ice shards tear through it but it just disregards the wounds they tear. The arm it wrenched free might move like slurry but it's quickly tossed into the ocean before it can do much harm. As the squid clings to the construct Conduit curses colorfully.

"What is wrong with you guys? You show up and wreck all my toys! Interrupt important operations! Grrrrah!" The bulk of Bruce doesn't seem to intimidate her nearly as much as the fact that most of her stuff is broken. The whole room sways and jerks and she barely manages to hang on to her chair.

"Fine, you know what? I've had it with you guys! Had it, had it, had it! Thresher, sort out whatever the problem is and come pick me up! Switch to the Vibranium energy stores fer christ's sake!" The control room, where still functional, is already blaring alarm messages everywhere so it's not immediately obvious that something has changed, but the symbols on the screens have changed. A lot of them are now displaying a nuclear symbol in the middle of the system status showing the bridge section of the squid. It's blinking angrily next to a rising pillar indicating nothing good.

"Here's what I think of your stupid little fleet!" she screeches and scrambles out of the captain's chair, which is hanging at a precarious angle along with the rest of the room. Jumping to cling to one of the crewmembers she scrambles up, using his uniform as hand and foot-holds as she tries to get to what is presumably an exit on the other side of the bridge. Outside the mech suddenly hums with energy as it taps into the energy it absorbed from Shatterstar's blasts.

The squid, as resilient as it is, has no way of dealing with this. It's skin freezes to the construct and slowly but surely even it's blood begins to get sluggish.

Thresher's passenger is thrown off as he rockets towards the bridge that a spreading carapace of ice is slowly threatening to envelop. The bird on her shoulder finally flutters off as she's knocked into the Squid (and the ice crawling all over it), Cailleach apparently being done with her.

On the outside of the bridge the airlock pops open, though Conduit is not too happy with the sight of the outside as she climbs out, desperately waving at Tresher in the mech. "Just a lift! Hurry!"

Re: Battlestations!

A gutted carrier floating among the wreckage of numerous ships, on top a giant squid and chunk of ice are locked in mortal combat. On one side of the squid's bridge a giant shark dives into the water while on the other end a tiny figure is pulled up by a different shark, flying a giant mech. As the mech fires it's jets to get away a flow of ice crashes down on top of them, knocking them off course. Above it all a small bird dives through the air, ultimately hitting the water and disappearing into the waves.

One of the lifeboats heads right for Tosh, coincidentally the one Sam is on who may or may not have played a part in noticing the friendly shark among the waves and directed the boat to pick him up. Finally able to warn everybody else the boat speeds away from the carrier towards the handful of supply vessel on the horizon. Behind them they can see the Mech try to lift off while tethered by ice, making very little headway while underneath, by now encased by ice, the command module of the Architeutis begins to glow. A couple of breathless seconds later the bubble of energy goes critical and detonates into a perfect sphere of energy. The shockwave tosses up a wall of water as energy expands and obliterates what is left of the Kuznetsov. Ice instantly melts into steam and the Mech manages to break free at last, just ahead of the explosion. It quickly catches up with them, sections of it glowing with absorbed energy while other parts melt away as the whole thing is thrown into the air and away from the boats, disappearing behind the blast. Most of the explosion seems to be forced upwards by being partially submerged, which probably saves the lifeboats from being blown apart by the reactor's detonation.

They're still hit by the shockwave, knocking them forward and almost capsizing the vessel but somehow remains afloat and by the time it stop rocking the explosion has run it's course. Where the carrier was only tumultuous water and a massive cloud of smoke remain while here and there bits of molten metal hit the water. The lifeboats continue heading away from what is likely now a heavily irradiated patch of water, still pulling the occasional sailor out of the water, even if more often than not they are no longer moving. One of the bodies retrieved is burned pretty badly though even without the eyepatch she's still recognizable. Barely. The atmosphere is more than a little somber all the way to the supply fleet. No one is really in charge at the moment with the Admiral presumed dead as well, though some are insisting to wait at least a couple hours while a few water-breathing mutants volunteer to search for her.

Who knows how far in the other direction a smoking heap of metal that was once a piloted mech slams into the water and slowly begins to sink, leaving behind two shapes, one huge, the other tiny and clinging to it.

"I hate, hate, hate those guys!" she whines, fists hitting the water in pathetic splashes before she's forced to hold on to Thresher to keep from dipping beneath the waves. Spitting out water she just steams silently for a moment and they bop on the waves. "I blew up our Slipstream beacon." she finally admits as the camera zooms away from the two.
