Tosh was bundled up in an emergency blanket, teeth chattering. The shark could take being cold and wet but the human wasn't so lucky.

"I really w-want to g-go home n-now."

Will walked over to Tosh. "Poor guy, you look terrible."

He twisted and reformed, and in soon, in front of Tosh, was a small electric heater, blasting in his general direction.

After a some searching, the search team does find a hunk of ice latched onto some underwater wreckage. It does seem to have something inside it, but the ice makes it impossible to tell what. Bringing it up to the supply fleet doesn't prove to be terribly difficult once they detach it from the wreckage.

Whether the ice contains something or not, rumors are quick to spread, especially when people were already talking about how the Admiral took down the enemy squid and more than one person insists that she took down the mech with her in a valiant effort for Mother Russia. Dredging up a chunk of ice with a diffuse shadow inside only sparks people to talk more, claiming it's either her still alive or at the very least an inspiring memorial. The mood still isn't good on board the ships, but there's a spark of optimism. More and more people are convinced that while they suffered a devastating blow, it was worth it if it meant that neither Conduit nor Thresher stand between them and taking the Order's base of operations. It's almost strangely inspiring, especially to Sam for some reason. Maybe she's just especially susceptible to everyone's mood on board.

"...damn," Sam whistles as she's brought aboard, looking at the small crowd around the chunk of ice.

She starts making her way over, trying to feel out if she can sense anything inside it.

There's certainly something inside of the ice as Sam can sense the resonance there, but it's pretty diffuse as if all the awareness is not collected in whatever is in the ice at the moment.

It's a strain even this long after her mental battle, but Sam sends the flock out, trying to feel out any connections she can.

The flock can see floating specs dispersed all around the area where the squid fight had occurred. They are gradually moving in the direction of the ice coffin, but they're taking their own sweet time.

Wincing, Sam tries to gather a few of the flock on each piece she can find and tow it back towards the piece on the deck.

As the flock touches them, Sam becomes aware of what they are. They're fragments of consciousness and memories, various bits and pieces of Siberia's life.

Sam doesn't want to pry, but it's hard not to feel these when she's in direct contact. She grits her teeth, trying to focus on bringing them all home.

One of the memories, more powerful than the others, seems to be a confrontation with her sister, a battle that ended with her putting her sister into cryo. She'd taken on her sister's powers, that memory didn't really know how it worked, but the memory ended before going too much farther.

Gathering the pieces looked to be time consuming, but the flock was having little to no problem bringing them in.

"...then she wasn't... she didn't kill the other me..." Sam mumbles, trying to find other memories of freezing people like this, or to determine what her sister's power was.

Her sister seemed to be able to fly and was super strong and super tough, nothing wildly unusual there.

It's quite a few memories to pick through though she doesn't find any directly freezing other people until she stumbles across her freezing Cailleach. That seemed to follow the same pattern, though there was some surprise attached to the tail end of the memory that Cailleach was still awake.

"...damn it," she mumbles, hurrying to haul in the last pieces.

She managed to gather up the fragments and it looked like they were working on reintegrating themselves.

Sam finally relaxes her hold, slumping to her knees with heavy breath.

"...get it together. We're going to need to talk."
