Em:
Hey, the alien girl ran off somewhere. Dunno where she was going but doubt she is too far by now.

Moments later Ashlie is compiling information from around the city. There's an alarming amount of police chatter and cellphone activity, suggesting that something is going on, although no concrete pattern seems to emerge right now. What does seem notable is the police report of a strange animal at the train station. It's very possible Shari would be trying to take the train and while she wouldn't expect her to take an alien shape odds are she should look into this.

A couple seconds later Ainsley's phone buzzes with a call. That alone is unusual already because who calls a mute guy, but the whole screen of the phone is showing a message reading "Pick up, Shari might need your help"

Ainsley did, responding with the same whistling sound some domestic songbirds associate with the word "Hello." to make sure Ash was aware he could indeed hear her.

"Ainsley. This is the headmistress speaking. Tap on the screen or whistle, once for yes, twice for no. I understand you're a friend of Shari's and she might require your assistance."

Not super comfortable with sounds, Ainsley went with tapping for yes.

"It's possible that she was mistaken for a wild animal at the Maldon train station. It's also possible it's not her at all and some kind of unusual animal is loose in the town. Either way it would be tremendously helpful if you could try and resolve the situation. I can provide you with a ride into town."

Yes tap again.

However, he knew he'd have to break into Will and Shari's room to get what he really needed, but he figured he would just text that info to her in a moment and he would probably be let in.

"Great. The van will wait for you outside the dorms to take you into town."
