The Essex Police have launched an investigation today, after a break-in at the CS
Wadjet the night before. The investigation, in collaboration with the Maldon Harbour Improvement Commission, concerns medical supplies which were stolen from the container ship, which was slated to unload them in anticipation of shipping them to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
The supplies are part of an initiative by Dame Rashida Muqqadam to run an addiction clinic out of Broomfield Hospital focusing on the neglected demographic of mutants with substance abuse problems, with shuttle service running daily to Lambeth.
Though security footage is unclear as to the identities of the burglars, it is reasonably certain that they are mutants themselves, and capable of flight.
When reached for comment,
Dame Rashida stated "I really want to emphasize how closely we're working with the police in this investigation. Ultimately these supplies can be replaced, but I understand the desperation that can lead to these acts. As such, I am willing to drop all charges if the perpetrators turn themselves in and get the help they likely need."
