Something renovating library without a permit

Headmistress,

Something or someone has severely altered the Library. Should I close shop until we can figure out the issue?

I've attached photographs of the mess in question. We were as mindful as we could be not to damage things that hadn't been already damaged by impromptu carpentry.

Unless you deem it dangerous to do so, please keep the library open.
