Bear entered the admin building, hefting a large, full backpack. Once she got to a bench, she dropped it to the floor, sighing as she took a seat.

She began flexing her throwing arm, checking the wrap encircling her elbow.

After a bit someone steps into the area behind the reception desk from a backroom, holding a cup of coffee or tea. The man seems surprised to see anybody waiting and walks up to the desk.

"Oh, hi. Sorry, weren't really expecting anybody to come in." he tells Bear.

“Why? Did I miss an announcement?” Bear asked, curious.

"No no, it's just that there's not much going on right now. Most students and staff are away on winter break. Some facilities are closed down for that though."

“Yeah, I did return to England a bit early. Just give me a moment, I’ll head over to the dorm.”

"Oh, you're a returning student. Yeah, just go right ahead to your dorm. No need to check in or anything. Everything's a bit barebones right now, you should have an email with the details. Things are going to open up again the day after new years."

Bear nodded, flexing her elbow slightly.

“Is the infirmary open?” She asked, fumbling for her keycard in her backpack.

"Yeah. Minimal staff for now though."

“That should be fine.”

Bear thanked the desk jockey, and made her leave.
