In The Middle Of Our Street

Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as classroom space for the University. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for University students on a meal plan. The old library has been bolstered with college textbooks.

Despite the dimensional hopping madness, this was probably the happiest Sam had seen Will since, well, the box.

Haley watched this display of telepathic prowess with awe and a bit of jealousy. There was no way she’d ever do anything but break things and broadcast her inner monologue to the entire floor, and annoy people.

As they're reaching out with their various telepathic senses there's the loud scrunch of gravel outside, followed by a loud 'Beep beep!' from a car horn as a ridiculous pink Cadillac powerslides to a halt in the driveway in front of the manor. The driver seat is empty, Bear is sitting in the passenger seat and two aluminum-foil wrapped kebabs are sliding around on the back-seat.

Will's eyes sparkled, as he ran towards the car. He didn't let go of Sam or Miranda, letting his arms stretch out a bit to give them some slack before dragging them along, as he sprinted and bounded towards the pink Caddy.

The car feels very familiar to Miranda. Hell, it looks familiar. Especially once the headlights move and literally light up at the sight of Will. The rest of the car contorts as well and snaps back into human shape, depositing Bear and the kebabs on the ground.

"Dad!?" the young woman shouts, springing forward in a fluid motion and tackling Will to the ground with a hug.
