What Sam's been talking about and mentioning finally breaks through to Miranda, "What are you talking about, Sam?" Even as she asks, her telepathy hones in one Will, looking for that off feeling she picked up on before.

MIranda's telepathy...bounced off.

The signal she got was...whatever the astral equivalent of asking for a username and password would be.

"Daaaad, what did you do?" Robin asks, hands on her hips and tilting her head slightly.

"It wasn't me! It was a telepath. Split me right in two.

Don't worry, though; your Dad's got all the good bits over here," he smiled, sheepishly.

"Locked behind a telepathic firewall," Miranda says, obviously concerned.

Robin looks at Will.

Then bursts out laughing. "I cannot wait to tell mum about this!"

"He got most of the worrying, the other one got most of the sass."

"And he absorbed a computer, so I think he's maybe got an actual firewall now?"

"IF we must," Will sighed, turning to Sam, MIranda and Haley.

"Any idea where to find them, or should we cruise around?"

"I mean...'let''s a strong word, there.

But, I mean, it seemed fair, considering I got the name and all. I'll find somewhere to be on a long-term basis, Sam, don't worry about me," he smiled up at her.

"Well, he's...more likely to be out and about, right? He'd probably try to go on the offense and attack the dimensional...whatzits in the face. So...out in the center?"

"Not... like that." She sighs.

"He got all the parts that like me as a friend," she gestures to Will.

"And I think Miriam tried to push any attitudes towards the Morrigan to one side, but what he wore to that grudge match makes me doubt she succeeded."

"Um, I mean, we could try, but...

One, I don't think he thinks of himself as...your champion. You've made it, um, clear that you don't want to be...confused with your counterpart. That you are your own woman. I respect that! I don't know if, uh, he does, but you know. You're...Sam, and wonderful for reasons of your own.

And, uh, two...if Miranda is here. And ROBIN is here..." he trailed off.

"Why would it matter if they're here?"

"If you were to call upon the power of the Morrigan, there might, uh...

Maybe there would be another Morrigan who would be...less than amused?"

"We don't actually know how many dimensions are overlapping right now. The odds of another, less genial Morrigan noticing you drawing on 'her' dominion are high. Why don't we head for some central location and if he's not there, then I can try to help you with a more directed calling?" Sam gets the distinct mental impression that she finds that idea distasteful, despite her willingness to implement it.

“I get the feeling we might need to throw some type of power play.. maybe giving it our strongest shot now is the best choice?” Bear said, twirling a baseball in her hand.

"All we have to do is think sideways. There's probably some kind of pattern, just a weird one. We'll be able to get through alright, if we just stick together.

Maybe we should take a car."

Hey, it couldn’t hurt, right?
