"I'd be more concerned with Viv and Tereza than with me or Robin, in that scenario," Will said, with a slight frown.

"The point is, every time we've asked you, you tell us you're fine, well past when you're actually fine, until the part where we need to force you into it."

"And it's not like this is going to the dentist."

"That's...not entirely fair," Will said carefully to the Goddess sat before him.

"For the first thing, you don't hang out with your dentist socially, one would imagine.

And secondly, my..let's call it 'less inhibited' self did bring up several things, and every time, got...looks. Looks I'm not really a huge fan of, if I'm honest."

"I'm trying to be better about things, aye?"

"But if you're not comfortable with me doing it, there's alternatives."

"Oh, I'm comfortable with you. I'm very comfortable with you.

But you have two girlfriends, neither of which who are. And you're having enough problems with Tereza as is, aye?"

"I don't think either of them would want you to be hurting."

Will sighed a little. "You're probably right. As usual.

I just don't want to be the cause of drama in your House."

How he managed to capitalize a word in speech, the world may never know.

"She has done a fantastic job of not talking about that with me, which tells me how bad it must have been.

I also understand some of it bubbled up here, before Tereza froze it all."

Will shook his head. "I'm not so sure I agree with you there, Red.

I mean, you're right in that it shouldn't be kept bottled up, but better in me than out there, you know? No one needs to deal with my shit on a regular basis."

Will nodded, getting serious for a moment. "Dreams are a way of...coming to grips with things. They let you relitigate and retackle situations which, perhaps, you didn't handle quite so well in the moment.

And one person's nightmare, and all that..."

"Something like that. Doing my best to make lemonade of the lemons and all that, but yeah. It's tough; you're right. I shouldn't have let myself be split for that long, at a bare minimum."

"Ah, there's a difference between generating a lot and being backed up.

You're dead on target that my self-loathing levels are through the roof. It's something I work on, but well, I mean, look at me," he said, with an abashed shrug.

"But I like to think I normally do a better job of working my way through them. Generally speaking."

Will cocked his head. "For the sake of argument, let's pretend I'm an idiot and don't quite get what you're saying.

Just for the sake of argument, mind you."

"Ah, yeah, that's what I'm told. My brain can be very literal about these sorts of things. That's apparently where the dreams come from; they're used as, uh, raw materials to help shape things. Hopefully blended with enough not terrible stuff to, uh, make things a little less...

Well, sludgey."

"We can find crew from inside your head, but if we give them more resources, better studios and so forth, perhaps we can get the backlog moving better."

"...and maybe we have you eat a book on modern sanitation to take care of the plumbing up to that point."

Will chuckled. "Ah, so you want to executive produce. The Morrigan shoots for bigger and better targets, hrm?"

"I'm...wary of anyone messing around too much with the muck, to be honest. You won't like what you see. For multiple reasons.

If you want to help, though, I suppose I can't rightfully say no..."

"Well, it was built for a different place, wasn't it? I don't suppose I can call the military and get them to send this universe's Sara over here to help me out when I need it, and you and I have a ....different relationship here as well," he said, dancing around the issue. "Not past it's warranty by any stretch of the imagination, but not operating at full power."
