Sept 11th: Meat Lunch

Murphy was heading to her room, but she was quickly distracted by the scent of food. She wandered into the cafeteria and a few minutes later she had a plate full of various meats and was sitting at a table to dig in.

"Just a little something light, aye?" Sam asks as she's walking by, a more conservative lunch on her tray.

"Yes," Murphy says. She picks up a piece of steak with her fingers and rips into it messily, her sharpened teeth making quick work of the meat.

"Good."

"I guess you're... a shifter?" She asks, pausing.

Murphy just stares at her with a curious expression on her face.

She does stop messily chewing steak though. That's a plus?

She takes a seat.

"There's a few of us here that can shift."

Murphy looks around the room like she's trying to spot other shifters.

Murphy holds a hand out and flexes her claws. The claws and teeth fade away for a moment. A snake tongue shoots out of her mouth quickly. She smiles to reveal two pronounced fangs before they fade away as well.

She smiles enthusiastically at Sam. She's very proud of her abilities.

Sam closes her eyes for a moment, and then her shape starts to flow and grow upwards, her frame filling out and her hair darkening. When she opens her eyes she's a duplicate of Murphy.

Which probably looks a little silly since her clothes don't fit nearly as well now. Good thing she dressed baggy.

"People's what I'm good at," she says in Murphy's voice, her accent gone. She gives a grin before shifting back down.

Murphy's eyes widen with wonder at Sam's transformation. She'd never seen a person turn into her before. It was pretty incredible!

Murphy shakes her head. She reaches across the table and pats Sam on the head. All friendly-like.

Murphy was a weird girl.

Physical contact with Sam is a bit odd for Murphy. There's something animal barely there. A hint of eel. A faint impression of something large and hoofed. An aurochs perhaps? A bit stronger undercurrent of wolf. And crow. Definitely crow in there. None of these seem to show in the girl's physical form.

"Uhm... thanks?"
