DT1 - In Low Spirits ((open))

Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as classroom space for the University. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for University students on a meal plan. The old library has been bolstered with college textbooks.

DT1 - In Low Spirits ((open))

Miriam is sitting at a table by herself, halfheartedly munching on her toast and breakfast sausage. She never looks particularly cheerful, but she looks actively disgruntled this morning.

Rob sat down across from MIriam. He usually sat alone, but he actually wasn't paying attention. He seems to be studying a notebook full of equations. When he finally looks up and notices Miriam, he looks surprised.

"Oh. Hello," Rob says. "...Did you need something?"

"Oh she thinks Will, you know, the green-haired guy? Well, recently he decided to change it up and walk around as a woman, but anyway. When he's not a person he has the most tranquil and happy mind I've ever experienced, but apparently Sam has made it her cause to convince him to stop that and be more like a person."

"I have it on pretty good authority that it's not just me." she says, turning around in her chair to point at various people around the cafeteria. "She's homesick and misses her friends, he's beating himself up about something stupid he said in class, he's worried about the earthquake in China, his grandparents just died. It's all around us."
