I2: Simple Needs

Murphy seems less concerned about things then Sam. She eats her breakfast, a medley of breakfast meats and oatmeal, and she just looks happy. The University is warm, the people are fun, and she has plenty of food. What's there to worry about?

Jez took her seat across from Murphy. Her breakfast wasn't much different than the other girl's; some granola, yoghurt, and some fresh cut fruit.

"Thanks. My name's Jezabelle, bytheway. Freshman."

"Do I... have something on my face?" She asked while brushing her bangs back instinctively.

Murphy nods her head in a vaguely non-committal way. She had her doubts about that statement, but she didn't want to argue the point. Explaining this stuff was difficult enough without trying to get philosophical about it.

"Know about games," Murphy explains. "Cultural knowledge."

I'm sure there are books that are, like, ones everyone is supposed to read but I'll never touch, or movies I gotta see and never will. There's nothing wrong with that so long as you're enjoying your hobbies."

Jez had just taken a big bite of her wrap, some sprouts sticking out from between her lips as she looked up at the girl. For a moment she was motionless, until her cheeks flushed as the unexpected compliment sunk in.

Jez seemed rather impressed, and even shivered a bit. Hannah was definitely the kind of girl she didn't want to get on their bad side. "Oooh, that explains the hunting then. Thank goodness we're not stuck the middle of London and you can go out and enjoy nature a bit."

She took a sip of her milk and wiped her mouth daintily before answering the larger girl's question. "I make copies of myself."
