I2: You're Unbelievable

"That is beside the point, Mam," Kayla said, leaning into her phone as she made her way through the cafeteria line to grab some dinner. "I'm taking the classes that interest me. I sent you the list as a courtesy. Da said it looked like a good list." She loaded up her tray, "Well, you're not the one who has to sit in the classes. I hear Dublin has several nice universities if you're interested in other classes." She dropped the phone to her hand and thumbed the 'End Call' image. She dropped into a seat at a table and began eating, thumbing through other things on her phone.

After a few minutes, Tosh and his implausibly large meal portions approached the table.

"Umm... do you... mind if I sit here?"

Kayla pushed one sleeve back up to her elbow and her hand burst into flames, the flesh shifting into glowing energy before going back to normal. "Fire... lots and lots of it."

"Meh. It is what it is. Hopefully they'll get their heads out of the asses soon enough. I'm treating it like it is. I'm going to school to an awesome university overseas, and it's expensive to fly home anyway, so it's not like it's that big of a deal. Plus, I can drink beer here without getting a ticket," Trev chuckled.

"Tosh, my grandma said she'd be shipping a care package that might include her cookies. If you're nice, I may share a few. But I don't want a repeat of the incident from junior year when we were rooming together, alright?" he joked.
