Basil bobbed his head back and forth a bit, some kind of social cue it seemed, but hard to interpret.
"It's actually not as bad here as people make it out to be, especially not here in the south. In the whole of the UK the average rain days are somewhere around 133 days. Most of that is up north though. You also have to factor in that it doesn't really get cold enough to snow very often, so our winter storms are usually rain ones instead of snow storms.
But I know we Brits love to complain about how depressing it is here so I assume everyone who lives in a country that also speaks English gets to hear us whinging on about it whether directly through conversation or indirectly through our pop culture."
