Shari, having reverted back to two legs and a face that distinctly does not resemble the one Cam put on her ID (did he just pull a random picture of somebody form the Internet? who is this even?), has somehow found her way to the correct classroom. She has no books and only a notebook and a single pen on her for Theoretical Physics 101 as she cracks the door and pokes her head into the classroom five minutes late. Just because she found the right room unfortunately doesn't mean she did so on time.

Ashlie, clearly not amused by the tardiness stares at Shari until she finds an empty chair to sit down. And at the same time runs her through her student roster. It's not a visual match, but considering the only unaccounted for spot is one that has clearly been added to the system by a third party makes up for that. She's alarmed for a moment until her digging turns up who added the entry. Apparently Mister Beckett had, much to her surprise, made a friend outside the University and instead of enrolling her properly set this up. She makes a note to keep an eye on this situation and just let it play out for now. Social interactions were Cam's worst area by far and probably shouldn't be torpedoed right away, at least as long as he was breaking bending the rules to educate somebody she could turn a blind eye.

Shari proceeds to try and follow along. For about ten minutes. She's bored but mainly this is not exactly an easy subject. Her notes quickly devolve into doodles, back into incoherent notes. The two students to the left and right of her soon tune her out and she stops whispering "What?" in their direction in hopes of having somebody give her the idiot version of theorems and axioms. But somehow she manages to make it through the class, finally fleeing out the door when Ashlie wraps up the class. She stops in the hallway outside, leaning against the wall. "Ugh... this is making my head hurt." she moans.

Natalie comes out of a nearby room, stuffing a book in her backpack. The book has the title Introduction to Psychology, or at least that's what it looks like it says. Natalie seems a little burned herself as she zips up the backpack.

"Really? Nobody else thought this was like banging your head against the wall for ninety minutes?" Shari asks her fellow Theoretical Physics students as they file out of the room and mostly just earns eye-rolls and head-shakes. She let's out an exasperated sigh and let's her head fall back against the wall with a slight thud.

Natalie looks over at Shari, not recognizing her from their previous meeting. "Class troubles?"

"It's either that or brain trouble and I'm starting to suspect it might be the later..." she groans before looking over. "Oh hey Nat."

Natalie looks a little surprised, "How do you know my name?"

"Hmm? Oh yeah right. It's me, Shari. Remember, we met in the dining hall?"

"Oh, yeah. Sorry. Didn't recognize you. What class was that?" She gestures at the room Shari had left behind.

"Theoretical non-sense. Or Physics. One of the two."

Natalie makes a face, "Theoretical physics? That's a tough class. Why did you decide to take that?"

"I didn't. Long story..." she adds after a brief pause. "Favor to a friend, I guess."

"Theoretical physics is a hell of a favor," she says, impressed. "I was about to head to grab some coffee. You want to come with?"

"I sure could use it. This stuff is making my head hurt." she says, holding her forehead with one hand.

"We can hit the cafeteria. They keep the stuff on tap. Not as fancy as the coffee shop in the student union, but cheaper and self-service." She turns and starts heading towards the cafeteria. "Are your other classes as hard as that?"

"God, I hope not. First one I've been to so far."

"You have your list? I can look at it and see," she offers.

She slings her backpack in front of herself and digs around inside until she finds her course list, handing it to Natalie. And the rest certainly is easier, but it's all very science-focused.

She skims the list and cross-references them with the listing of courses on the network. "Yeah, these will be easier. So you're trying for a Science degree?"

"We'll see how the rest of it goes or it'll be less trying and more struggling. This is decidedly unfun."

"Well, if it's not at least a little fun or getting you towards something you'll have fun doing, why are you taking all of this? First year is for the fun stuff."

"Not according to some people, apparently." she says as they make their way into the cafeteria proper.

Natalie makes a beeline for the coffee and began pouring up some strange concoction that seems to only be part coffee. "You should have a talk with these people then."

"I'm sure I'll manage. Assuming my brain doesn't melt out of my skull first."

"Brain melting is bad. Had that nearly happen to me once."

"Literally? Cause with this place... you never know."

"Felt like it. Spent too long with my brain wandering around a computer system. Got a little overloaded."

"Ooh, rough. You still seem to have all your wits about yourself at least!"

"Thankfully, I passed out before things went *too* far." She's not exactly sure that's true, but it's the thing she wants to believe at least.

"Brain failsafes." she chuckles.

"Good things to have," she says with a smile, sipping at her coffee and moving to sit at a table.

Shari pours herself just a straight coffee and follows Natalie, taking careful sips of way-too-hot-beverage.

"Why'd you go computer-diving anyway?"

"I always go computer-diving. If it's not my job as a student IT worker, it's just curiosity and seeing how things are set up. I do my best not to snoop too much." It's an evasion, but true enough.

"Makes sense. That'd be like me not shapeshifting and that just sounds weird."

"Some computers can get a bit active... demanding even with requests and I got lost trying to respond to them all."

"Sounds tough. Computers get pretty fast with what they do, yeah?"

"People underestimate just how much a computer is doing because it looks so simple on the surface." She sips at her concoction.

"So humble..." Shari says with mock awe as she takes another sip from her coffee and finally decides it has cooled down enough to just down in one go. The fact that it's still clearly steaming doesn't seem to deter her, her threshold for 'too hot' seems to be pretty generous.

"That still looked hot. Doesn't that hurt?" Natalie tilts her head as she watches Shari.
