"Four-armed is forewarned!" Will cried, charging towards Business Mandy (and Tosh), growing more arms to match Mandy.

Haley has a good grip on the armor plating, but they're a little too attached to the Skrull to tear them off, instead she just pulls him into Sam's attack, but he remains standing, feet glued to the ground as he tries to recover from the blow. He tries to strike at Sam, hand encased in a growing spike of ice again.

The other one stops it's pummeling of Bruce's stomach to bring the hands to bear in defense against Will, hands growing into snapping mouths full of teeth as she tries to chomp down on Will's fists.

The combination of Cam's success and the reprieve from being gut-punched gave Bruce everything he needed to rally his spirits.

He seemed to regain some of his flagging strength as he grinned at Mandy. "You losers haven't figured it out have you? We're smarter than you," he taunted before suddenly yanking the Skrull down into a charged knee strike.

Will saw that his hands were being eaten -- and kept going, shoving himself as deep inside Business Mandy as he could.

"Oh, have you ever bitten off more than you can chew..."

Bear returned to the steel balls, attempting to strike and shatter the ice spike.

The ice spike is at an awkward angle, Sam being between Bear and it, but that doesn't stop the telekinetic pitcher and the steel-ball curves around Sam and shatters the icy weapon, saving Sam from getting stabbed twice in one day and instead just getting punched in the shoulder by the blunt remains of the ice still encasing Secret Asian Man's fist.

Business Mandy seems perfectly fine with what's going on, figuring she's winning as she's chomping down on some Will-Taffy. The charged knee-blow form Tosh knocks her back, stumbling slightly but in response her upper body just turns into one giant maw and tries to take a bite out of Tosh. If the strategy's working, why change it.

Will kept shoving, and started expanding, more sticky taffy filling Mandy's arm-jaws and spreading out and out.

Will was betting that cruddy shapeshifters couldn't keep up with him. Stupid cruddy shapeshifters from space.

He pressed forward, leaning into his work.

Stephanie, head still ringing from being slammed into Wanda and the ground, picked herself up, and her eyes darted around frantically--the Point...it was back? There were more people on the battlefield, too.

Her head snapped towards the unmistakable shout--it was Trev!

She looked around again, not quite sure what to do, and saw the little earthbender lying unconscious and near the fray with the skrulls. She growled, and dashed in to grab her and pull her to safety.

"I wonder," Sam grunts as she takes the blow to her shoulder, trading a right-cross in answer.

"How well did you test that shield of yours?" She starts pressing in on his mind from all sides, not giving it anywhere to 'slip' away from her.

"Maybe this monkey has more tricks than you know how to deal with..."

"Congratulations on your Darwin Award," Bruce groaned as he fought to hold back the biting maw.

Diego had collapsed off to the side of the battle after being thrown and hitting his head. Valiantly!

Bear started running, looking to get to the rear of Secret Asian Man so she could use a low-yield explosive ball, without fear of hitting Sam.

Unfortunately for Bruce, the giant maw manages to bite down on his arm and cyclical rows of teeth start pulling him in. They don't do too much damage to his rough shark skin but soon his arm is swallowed up to his shoulder and going for his head. That's when it suddenly stops, surprised, and starts flailing around as parts of it begin swelling up beyond what it's shifting is capable of accommodating. It pulls Bruce along as it flails until it suddenly pops, green blood and bits of Skrull splattering everyone nearby.

Secret Asian Man staggers a little at Sam's mental blow, but to her misfortune, just grins as most of it passes him by. "Don't flatter yourself. I killed you once, I can do it again." he says as he grows even larger, the hand that's grasping for Sam splitting into dozens of smaller arms that wrap around her as he lifts her off the ground and starts to squeeze. His companion exploding does seem to give him some pause though and he glowers at Sam "And if I fail there will be more to take my place!"

"Ugh. Remind me to update the entry on Skull digestive systems; if that's the best they can take, we can defeat them with a hot curry next time," Will said, disgusted.

"Get off of her, you prick!" Haley screamed, leaping into the air putting a sharp pointy wedge of telekinetic force in front of her and flying at top speed towards the arms grasping Sam.

"Line 'em all up, knock 'em all down."

With Haley engaging, Bear switched back to steel balls, and pinged a few off the Skrull's thick skull.

Bruce shook green gore off of himself like an enormous dog. Tosh would be so mortified later.

"Dude! Grody!"

The Skrull roars out in pain when Haley cuts through his arms, Sam tumbling back to the ground among a bunch of thin, severed arms. The Skrull meanwhile swats at the air around him as he tries to intercept the balls hitting him. "We took out the hornet's nest! Why are the pests still here!"

"Because..." she coughs, righting herself, "...you're bad at this."

She extrudes two bone spikes in place of her arms, and lunges in to stab the Skrull in the thighs.

The Skrulls's skin provides some resistance for a moment, but then the bone spikes sink into his thighs and he screams out as he falls to the ground.

"Again!?" he grouches.

"Yeah," Trev said walking up, and looking down, "AGAIN!!!" he shouted, focusing the force of his voice directly at the skrull's head.

And that does it. Something pops in the Skrull's head (presumably his eardrums) and his head falls back on the ground as he goes slack.

"...damn it, we needed to find out where he put Tereza."

A couple feet away a third Skrull sits up from where she landed in the bushes, rubbing her neck.

"It worked!" she croaks out.

Bear closed up her satchel, and slung it over her shoulder.

"Is everyone ok?"

Trev looked to Sam, then back down to the alien on the ground in front of him and Sam.

"Shit...I...I'm sorry Sam. I...just wanted to help."

Sam looks to Shari.

"That... wasn't your mum and dad or anything, was it?"

"They wouldn't have told us where Tereza was," Will said, coming over and wiping slime off of himself. "Not that we could trust, anyway.

Hoping against hope she had some X-Gear on we could track?"

Shari just shakes her head until what people are saying is sinking in. "They have... he was... oh god, I'm so sorry, Sam."

"...he was posing as her when he... went after me."

"That explains why they wanted telepathic blockers, I suppose," Will frowned, resting a (slimy) hand on Sam's shoulder.

"Well, I feel really confused.. like I'm missing a really big chunk of something important.. What are these? Skrulls?"

Bruce completely ignored everyone and made a beeline for Haley, arms wide for a big gory hug.

Haley noticed the incoming shark, though she was a bit in a daze from throwing around quite that much energy that quickly, and her head still felt kind of fuzzy to begin with for some reason.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" She cried putting her hands up. "Babe you are covered in alien ick."

"Yeah. Nasty alien menace from another planet. Shapeshifters. Infiltrators. Bastards."

Bear just looked around silently, to the Skrulls, then to the Point, then back.

"Ok..", said said finally, still unsure as to how this came about.

"I should have known... Sam told me Tereza brought one back as a prisoner and it sounded fishy. I should have realized what they were doing..."

"I... I need to go."

She grits her teeth and starts towards the Point.

Without even really thinking about it, Will fell into step, a respectful half-pace behind Sam.

"I'll go with you.." Bear said to Sam, unsure why she said it.
