"Bloody hell..." Shane said as he surveyed the damage to the grounds left by the fight with the aliens. He had rushed back from Newbury as soon as he heard about the attack but it was all over before he even left. He would've actually been useful but, no, he was off on some daft wild goose chase. Some potential X-Man he was.

"And what is that damn smell? It's like a rotting cabbage had sex with a dead pigeon on a hot day."

It looked like perfectly respectable day for late fall/early winter in England. She gestures and a cloud moves to meld into a larger formation. "I believe the word 'time' is involved in the explanation and not in a 'takes time' kind of way."
