Basil tilted his head and leant in to give her a kiss, though he waited patiently for her to unbury herself from his ribs.

Colette lifted her head and pressed her lips to his, that strange gelatinous softness so different from flesh, but warmer than room temperature; such a strange sensation.

Basil didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary by his facial reaction, the same heavy lidded lovesick expression both before and after he kissed her. He didn't press the kiss too far being in public, but he did ask-

"Chisaki still out?"

Colette gave Basil a silent nod, her cheeks burning red.

Basil's slender fingers moved smoothly and diligently, closing the fallboard of the piano and collecting his things.

"Come. I should take you back to your room. You might be coming down with something. You're burning up." He stated, placing his hand on her forehead to make an excuse for her about why she was beet red.

But the sly smirk on his face was more than enough of a hint for her to catch on.

"Yes, yes you are right Basil. I zink... I need to lie down. Zank you." The woman released her grasp on Basil's side, brushing herself off a bit before she stood, offering her hand to him.

Basil took her hand. " Of course Madame. Let's get you on top of someone comfortable."

He didn't even flinch when he said it, acting like it wasn't a slip up, nor a big deal.

Colette somehow managed to turn a more scarlet shade as she gripped Basil's hand tightly, allowing him to lead her back to her room so that she could get some... rest.
