Oh Danny Boy

"Finally! Some appreciation." she says and throws her hands up in mock exasperation.

[Samantha McManus]

"Headmistress has been a bit quiet. Think we should check on her?"

[Miriam Bell]

"Go ahead, I'll keep an eye on the hot tub."

[Will Stanton]

It turns out, said hot tub doesn't need much watching. Now that it seems to be confirmed working, the line of Wills was getting in rather readily of their own accord, the pot filling closer and closer to the brim.

While the relief is clear on Miriam's face, she is carefully watching the fluid level, just in case, feeling like they're not entirely out of the woods until the cauldron continues to hold all the Wills melting into it.

[Samantha McManus]

"No messes so far, looks like?" Sam says as she approaches with the headmistress.

[Miriam Bell]

"Everything's going smoothly so far, but we're almost full so I guess now we see if the spirits will do it all in one night. Or in one cauldron rather."

[Samantha McManus]

"I mean, I guess we could make it bigger, but it's... not exactly been linear, aye?"

[Will Stanton]

Indeed, it had not been linear. And, even as they watched, the bubbling liquid rose up towards the top...and then stopped there.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"In light of everything, that only makes sense." Ashlie notes. Though part of her still bristles at the idea that it does.

"Can they hear us in there?" she asks, tapping the rim of the cauldron.

[Samantha McManus]

"They could in the mirror, so it stands to reason."

[Will Stanton]

Ashlie tapping the cauldron caused a pleasing metallic ring; louder that it should have from just being tapped. It seemed solidly built enough.

"Well done, everyone. I suppose all that remains to be seen is if all the ones waiting in the wings approve of their new vessel."

[Samantha McManus]

"We'll make sure the first few leave a good review on AirBnB."

[Miriam Bell]

"I'll put all this away then." Miriam says. There's no reason why the cauldron shouldn't hold. It's made from Will after all, all the mental work and manifestations worked into it. Still she can't help but be nervous as she closes her eyes and lets the landscape around them withdraw back into their respective heads. Wide open space shrinks, woods and impossible towers shrink down outside, the walls of the 'club' fading into those of their dorm room. She lets out a shuddering breath and takes a couple unsteady steps to let herself collapse onto the couch.

The cauldron survived the transition from mindscape to reality with nary a scratch nor dent.

Very aesthetic for the spooky dorm to have a simmering cauldron in the corner, of course. Very much 'grammable.

"I think they're going to want to... ah... stew for awhile. Satisfied we don't have a fire hazard on our hands, Headmistress?"

[Ashlie Minamida]

"As long as I don't have to hear about you keeping it going through 'flames of passion', we're good."

[Samantha McManus]

"Why Headmistress, what happens in Spooky Dorm stays in Spooky Dorm, I assure you."

[Miriam Bell]

From her spot on the couch Miriam supplies a vague "Boo." at that particular nickname.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I've heard worse monikers bandied about, which must stem from baseless rumors if your assurance is to be believed." she says with a stone-cold poker face.

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm ah... glad you don't listen to rumors, Headmistress." She says with a faint flush.

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I shall leave you to it then." she says and places her hand on the laptop. A moment later the panels on the wall and ceiling detach and crawl down towards Ashlie like large clumsy mechanical butterflies. "Do give Will my regards once they're done settling in. And there is a whole room of them eagerly awaiting word. It might be best if Will comes to fetch them themselves once they feel ready to reintegrate them all."
