Basil got up and drug a provided study desk in line with Diego's bed, deciding to use the chair as he felt like it was probably less comfortable for his friend with cat legs.

"Voila. Now I am the magic do-er."

Diego hopped up on the edge of the bed and took the rather nerdy deck of cards out of the box.

"Fancy card moves huh?" he smirked, smoothly doing a basic riffle followed by a waterfall shuffle.

Not really into nerdy games, Basil mostly just admired the aesthetic of the cards.

"OoooOooo. Impressive." He commented, watching Diego intently as he showed off.

"If I had Kung Fu Guy's reflexes, I would be amazing at cardistry. But I'll just have to settle for pretty dang good," he said casually as he cut the deck and shuffled again before dealing, all with the style of a magician.

Basil was intrigued by the card designs and colours.

So much so it seemed that while the Burglar had no face, Diego could tell by Basil's body language that he really wasn't paying a hell of a lot of attention to the game at the moment.

It was, of course, very hard to read Basil, but something gave him away.

That tapping motion. Basil was thinking hard. Waaaaay too hard for anyone with good cards.
