I2: Not a Drop to Drink

Built on the Braddock Estate not far from the Manor, these were constructed for the university's benefit to help house the student population.

"You're the intruder here, and hiding to boot, so the way I see it you lot are in no position to dictate terms. The only deal is you self-important magical hooligans go home and leave this dimension the fuck alone, or we uppity mortals will be forced to defend ourselves in ways you won't bloody like."

If only he could stand up to daddy like that.

When things remained as they were, Emilie sighed. So much for that idea... She watched her room mate force her way into the mess of pipes and made to stop her, but when a isolated version of her original plan seemed to be agitating and possibly even hurting whatever thing Vivienne was talking with, she decided to leave the little one to do as much smashing as she chose to.

"If you see a big wheely thing in there, turn it in the opposite direction until it won't go anymore!"

Molly seemed to have a handle on things here, so Emilie began to think on what else she might be able to do to help when she noticed the water around her legs begin to pull itself in the direction Vivienne and Shane were. It was then another idea struck her.

It didn't seem to her to be as easy as turning off the water main as she had originally planned, considering Molly was having a knock down drag out with an inanimate object right now. However, a magic creature may be aware of water pipes leading to a bathroom, but there's a good likelihood unless that creature could sense water somehow it would NOT be aware of a fire system. And while she knew that sometimes those systems were actually filled with a liquid chemical that foamed, the worst case scenario she could see at the moment was making things very slippery. Best case was Vivienne would have a supply of ammo.

There was also the possibility nothing would happen at all other than the alarm going off(either because it was not set up like that or if Molly found the water main), but it might alert some of the staff there was an issue in the dorms building.

She got up from her position at the access panel and began searching for the fire alarm, meaning to set it off when she found it.

Molly's tender ministrations eventually result in a veritable river running out into the hallway.

That's bad, right?

Well, the pipes look sane again now, though sincerely broken.

And with the gushing out into the hallway, a small sea-green figure tumbles out. It looks like a tiny woman. Indeed, it'd resemble some popular children's doll line... if it wasn't for the mouth full of shark teeth.

It sputters and scrabbles to its feet, staring daggers at those present.

Hearing the pipes break before she had a chance to pull the alarm, Em abandoned her plot to get Vivienne a water source. She didn't seem too bother by getting drenched at this point. It was becoming status quo.

She looked at the little creature.

"What is it precious?" She asked, only half sarcastic. She thought about stomping it to death but seeing how Vivienne had bargained with it, that MIGHT not be the best idea.

Molly was also washed out into the hallway--one of the downsides to being small.

Seeing the nasty thing with pointed teeth, she screamed, and tried to scamper away, despite the onrushing torrent of water.

"Grindylow."

She could be wrong, but she continued to call the water to her, pulling it down the hall and letting it join her before moving a small portion of it out again to encase the creature.

The concept of the water coming at her didn't bother her. Forcefield and what not.

The concept of Molly drowning did.

Abandoning her analysis of the freaky thing(it was better left to Shane and Vivienne anyways), Emilie began to run at Molly and What would seem like a flood to the tiny girl. Bubbling Molly was simple enough, but then things got tricky. They'd both need the bubble to prevent Em's legs from giving out underneath her while fighting through the water, and Emilie could only make one.

While summoning the forcefield around Molly, Emilie dove into the mess to try and catch her once the 'wave' would inevitably sweep her hamster balled self up. The aim was to get the other girl cradled into her chest. If She was successful, Em would ride it out while Viv took control.

Molly spun round and round in her "hamster ball", tumbling heads over heels as she was tossed by Emilie's actions--it was enough to keep her safe, though, just dizzy.

The creature gives a garbled, bubbling scream in the water bubble, struggling against it with water tendrils of its own. It manages to push against the bubble, but not breach it. Much of its strength seems to have been removed now that it's no longer in the larger body of water.

There's not quite enough water to hamster-ball Emilie down the hallway, though she certainly might roll a bit just from her own momentum.

Emilie coasted a bit with Molly clutched against her only bra'd chest until her butt skidded crossed the floor. The bubble over them both, she continued to hug the girl against her while the nausea passed for her.

"I'm supposed to spike you and do a jaunty dance now, right?" She joked. If Molly was righted enough, she'd get the impression Em had made this joke before. At least once. Probably more than.

Molly had a really great quip to counter that, for sure! It was biting and everything.

Instead, dizzy, she ended up passing out, falling forward.

Frowning, Emilie let Molly lay down for a moment, and began collecting up her belt paraphernalia which had scattered about since she never had a chance to put it back on properly. Her work polo was still in the bathroom somewhere, but she didn't much care whether or not she got that back.

Once she'd gotten her few bits collected, she picked up the tiny girl again, and cradled her against her chest like a child.

"I'm takin' this one to the infirmary, need me to call anybody out?"

Vivienne gaged the amount of excesse water then pushed it towards the drains in the bathroom, sending it away. She then smiled at Shane and extended her hand towards him, the water within his clothing coming to her, effectively drying him.

Uncertain if she meant Shane or herself, Emilie shrugged. "Sure." That was vague enough without taking credit right?

In truth, Emilie hated recognition for a 'job well done' in these situations. She was only doing the right thing. That shouldn't be rewarded, people should just do the right thing because they're supposed to. At least half the work was done by Vivienne anyways, right?

Emilie nodded at the two of them. "Best of luck with those things."
