Room 118 - Fair's foul and foul's fair.

"...I know what she's about, yeah." She sighs.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"She is not evil, but she is fey and not human. Therefore her priorities may be very different from your own. I have come to believe her leaving is the reason fewer and fewer fey are born with each generation."

Vivienne moved over to her desk and gathered a few items. A bowl, a mug and a water bottle. She poured the water into the bowl and set the mug beside the bowl.

"I mentioned the Source. All fey are magic." She moved her hand over the bowl and several small "bubbles" lifted and moved into the mug.

"When fey died in the past, it was she who collected the souls and returned them." She moved her hand and the water moved up and back out, returning to the bowl.

"She has been greatly missed, though those in power would never admit it."

"This is... I'm sorry. I know you're trying to help."

"It just all seems... too big."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

Vivienne was silent for a moment.

"Yes, I am very familiar with that revelation."

[Samantha McManus]

"...no stranger to high expectations, are you?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"I was told to "learn", prove my loyalty and report. The most resent information I had on humans when I arrived was nearly a thousand years old. The term "city" had yet to be invented simply because there was never that many humans in any one area at one time. There are now over 7 billion humans in the world. What new information I have learned I have not been able to report back because no one will speak with me."

"I... I'm sorry. What I'm saying must sound so... petty to you."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Not really, she is alien to you and that is unsettling. I can understand that. When dealing with the fey humans have always struggled. I think simply because humans have a hard time seeing beings so alike to themselves in shape and yet so unlike them in nature."

[Samantha McManus]

"And I guess I just... you always think you know yourself, aye?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"I do not believe you are first, nor will you be the last to feel overwhelmed by what your gifts bring. I have no skill as a telepath, but if desire, I offer my assistance in matters of fey lore."

[Samantha McManus]

"Thanks. I do appreciate that," she says as a slight smile finally comes to her lips.
