Room 113: Sometimes A Cigar

Chisaki burst into her room like a whirlwind, eager to get started on her new craft project.

Colette was gone with her 'boyfriend' because of some religious holiday or something, so Diego and her were now alone in Chisaki's bedroom.

"Colette-senpai will not mind if we do it in here.

Take off your pants."

On some intellectual level, Diego knew the situation in which he found himself was entirely platonic. On a more emotional level, his brain was grinning like an idiot. He was not an intellectual. As such, he removed his shorts a tad too eagerly and fumbled for an awkward moment.

"Done!"

Chisaki had stopped at the door to take off her shoes while Diego got himself undressed, then brought them around to tuck them under her bed, slipping her sweater off onto her bed.

She did not take off the wrap around her head or her sunglasses despite the fact they were now indoors. She moved to one of the many organizers in the room (one on her side) and pulled out a measuring tape. She didn't seem to notice anything unusual about Diego's eagerness.

She grabbed a mechanical pencil and a pad. "I will start at the top and work down, okay?" She stated, just to inform Diego of what she was about to do without just invading his personal space.

"Okie doke!" he nodded, standing at attention.

Seriously dude?

"Do I... need to raise my arms or anything?"

"Yes, in a T. Like this!" Chisaki mimicked what he needed to do a little too quickly, and her shades slipped down revealing her eyes were (of course) not any of the colours she pretended them to be, but a shade of brown very common for her ethnicity. She quickly forced them up her nose again as she put her arms down.

As he complied, he wondered why she always disguised such beautiful eyes. "Got it! What now?"

Chisaki started up her music on her phone at a low volume, bouncing her head in time, then moving to grab a stool, since Diego was almost a foot taller than her.

"Now you hold very still Diego-senpai." She said, disappearing behind him. After a moment he would feel the measuring tape around his neck for a moment, wrapped around like a neck-tie, but it was gone again a moment after. "And now you can talk, if you want to."

Of all the music he might have expected her to work by, hardcore rap wasn't even on the list.

"Is that... 'gangsta' rap?" he asked with a stifled chuckle.

Diego would feel her hands across his shoulders and wrists, apparently measuring arm length. She would feel her hands touch his shoulders and gently press upon them as encouragement to put his arms down.

"Diego-Senpai, why do you laugh?"

Not being able to see her face, her tone sounds completely serious... until she continues.

"RZA-senpai is making it very clear that this is not a game. Tha Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta Fuck Wit."

There was no way that was not sarcasm, despite the fact her tone didn't change.

It would also mark the first time he (or anyone) had heard her say a 'bad word', at least as far as he knew.

He smirked as he put his arms down.

"You certainly like to defy expectations don't you Chisaki?" he smiled.

"What do you mean?" She asked, sounding confused.

"I mean... okay I'll admit I probably just made a stupid preconception because of your clothes and, hell, I don't actually know what music I expected. You're just... well... kinda mysterious. But hey, I like that about you."

Diego would hear her hop off the stool, then move around to his front while giggling mischievously.

"I have many secrets, yes!" She agreed, then motioned for him to put his arms up again.

"Bad thing for you I was raised to be a detective," he smirked as he raised his arms. "All secrets fall before Catman!"

Chisaki leaned in to get her arms around Diego in an almost hug like motion, feeding the measuring tape from one side of his torso to the other. Her face smashed against his pecs for a moment, he could feel her voice reverberating in her cheek against his sternum.

"Well, best of luck to you Zapata-san." She said before pulling away, now that she had the tape around him.

" Because I was trained to keep secrets by the best." She replies, tightening the tape around his torso and squinting her face up as she read it.

"Were you now? Sounds like a cha..." he began playfully before losing himself to a giggle. "Hey! That tickles!"

Diego would realize he shouldn't have said that when her vague Stepford smile broke out in a wide, malicious grin.

"You mean like this?" She replied, and then started in on him with the tickling. Her touch was precisely light enough to be neither painful, nor particularly sexual, but entirely too light not to make it feel fluttery in that way tickling tends to be.

His realization of his mistake crossed his face not two seconds from her tickle onslaught began. He squirmed in fits of laughter and feebly tried to push her hands away. "Qui-quit it!" he managed to say.

"See? I am winning already." She replied as she stopped tickling, grinning at him. She had everything she needed from Diego's top half measurements, and then fed the tape around him again to get his waist measurement now without further comment on the subject of his ticklishness.

"Detective Catman needs to learn that villains never play fair." She said, writing down his waist measurement.

Now came the awkward stuff, as Chisaki sat down on the stool to measure his leg length on the outside of his hip to his ankle.

"It seems Catman needs a new plan to catch The Tickler," he answered. His tail twitched as she worked near it.

"You will fail." She replies with the utmost confidence, passing the measuring tape between his legs at his knees then bringing it up to the outside of his inner thigh.

"I just need body armor. You can't tickle through body armor. Unless the villain has ticklekinesis. If that's a thing then I'm screwed."

Chisaki snapped back with " I could put sand in your body armor to tickle you.

But it has an equal chance of rubbing all your skin off like sandpaper." Oh hey, there's those creepy observations.

Right after that, Chisaki was measuring Diego's 'rise', probably the most awkward thing she was going to do today. She didn't seem bothered by this in the slightest and made quick work of it, no dawdling.

"Uhm. Hi." She replied, confused by Diego's outburst and looking up at him with her hands frozen in place.

"Mmmmmwell... I suppose that depends on how well you know your tailor. " She replied, a harmless observational answer that could be taken another way entirely.

Chisaki eyed the measuring tape to memorize the fit, then did so.

She couldn't exactly understand why, but she could tell something was making Diego uncomfortable.

However, she still had one more measurement left.

"Ehhhh.... errrrmmm... Here, take this." She said, handing him the end of the tape.

While his embarrassed body language quickly returned to normal, she might catch a fading blush if she looked at his face. He took hold of the tape and said, "Okay. Got it."

He complied obediently like a good dress-up toy.

"So... is... measuring for kitty legs any different?"

"I suspect so. I am going to go thigh to knee, then knee to ankle. I am also going to do the circumference of your calf, so if I ever make you some long pants I can sew for allowance."

"Kind of yes. I would like a wider seam allowance in case we need to loosen anything up a bit in the legs.

Which reminds me... I am going to need to get the around measurement on your tail near the place it meets your body... Would you like to hold that as well?"

He shook his head. "No. That's okay. Fair warning though, sometimes it does its own thing."

Chisaki disappeared behind him to watch his tail for a moment, to see if she could pick up on a pattern of sway in order to catch it.

The lazy sway of the appendage made the task easy work. It gave an instinctual twitch but quickly settled. He must use good shampoo, as the fur was very soft.
