Enough time had passed, Vivienne needed to get back to her task/quest/hunt, things were happening, Wanda's dream and the strange pushing and pulling of the magic in the area had disrupted her sleep. She stood at the door of 116, one hand silently spinning the new accessory at her wrist. Finally she knocked and waited.

Sam doesn't take long to open the door, giving a cautious smile.

"Hey there. You've been a bit scarce since we went down to Chelmsford. Everything alright?"

"I have been I have been, busy. There's much I wish to discus with you."

"Come on in," she says as she steps back to let Viv in.

"Little messy. I blame Tereza."

"Ah..right,yes." She slips inside and finds a place to sit.

"I have been working on a theory and have asked the aid of a student named Wanda Johansson, her abilities pertain to weather. I hypothesize that my mother presence at a location during the human winter would cause the location to be unseasonable warm, even if she is a diminished state. She is a Lady of Spring after all."

"Well, that's going to keep things... interesting. She's being chased by vampires and shite."

"She is also touched by magic..."

Vivienne spun her bracelet.

"When I found her she was having a nightmare, it caused her abilities to create a small indoor hurricane. She told me it once she calmed, it seemed familiar so I checked for magic. If Nightwalkers are here and interested in her then...she is important and in need of help."

"Just... one of the things we've got to juggle," she sighs.

"She's the one that werewolf who infected Tereza was sent to find."

"My mother will keep. If I do not know where she is then neither do they. Something is happening, the magic of this place has been very active as of late. Something is coming and I do not like the way it feels."

"I could certainly introduce you to the wizard boy who's been doing... weird things."

"A what?" Vivienne sat bolt straight.

"There's a boy here who's a wizard. He's the one who helped when all those fairies started coming out of the lighthouse."

"Do...do you happen to know where he is from?"

"Well by his accent he's from Birmingham, but finding out about his real parents has been kind of... a thing."

"What sort of a 'thing'?"

"Well he's adopted of course, and recently we found out his real parents might have been killed."

"Please tell me it was something mundane and mortal like an automotive incident or a building fell on them and in no way ritualistic or magical."

"...it was a demonic dwarf with a knife," she winces.

"In retrospect, I've kind of gotten arse-deep in some pretty awful shite."

"Ah hell."

Vivienne actually slumps in the chair.

"My issues just got a whole lot smaller...or a whole lot bigger. Too many coincidences."

"...suppose it isn't good news to tell you that the dwarf has some connection to the werewolf, too."

"Of course he does. Blasted Imps and their bloody contracts and long games."

"About the only good news is that it seems like she's on our side, now."

"That maybe..unwise. One wolf is risky, two is inviting death. Granted, Tereza is...unlike anything I have ever encounter, but this other one, within her territory. Are Tereza or you the accepted Alpha?"

"That hasn't... really come up. At least that I know of."

"You'd know if it were you, likely it is or will be Tereza. She is the strongest willed individual I have ever met."

"...until you scratch behind her ears," she smirks faintly.

"That, I did not want nor need to know."

"No? Don't need a secret weapon?"

"I highly doubt I need such a 'weapon' of that level of intimacy any more."

"Well I'm not saying it to rub your nose in it. She just gets a really funny look on her face."

"I'm sure she does." Vivienne managed a small smile.

"You don't need to be on the sidelines, you know. I think... we've buried a few hatchets, haven't we?"

"It isn't that...at least, I no longer wish to remove your teeth one by one with my bare hands."

She looked at her hands.

"I have told you before what I see in you...humans no longer have an equivalent...you are...untouchable to me, a goddess, my personal goddess. Does that make sense? Suddenly you are real and you reached out to me as a friend, an equal, I was stunned and honored. My goddess called me friend and in a land of strangers I found love. But then I was ripped away, I fought to get back, I did everything they told me to gain their trust. I finally get back and find she's chose you. Of course she did, who wouldn't, but now she is a wolf, they do not share, she may but that part of her never will if it has chosen you as mate. I won't cause her more pain, finding balance is hard enough when you don't have a roaring beast suddenly in your brain."

"I don't... I don't want to be on a pedestal, Viv."

"And I mean, we've talked about it. She's comfortable with you again. She feels like you're part of the pack."

"I know, you have said, but it is not easy to get over a lifetime of belief in something you never expected to experience until death. I'm not seething anymore, but it still hurts. Pack I can be, co-lover is out of bounds at the moment."

"She's got some... fuzzy notions of personal space. Fair warning."

"And of modesty, I'm sure. Dual natures can be tricky."

"I'm sure she'd knock it off if you asked, but it kind of grows on you."

"Modesty is...subjective. My aunts prefer nudity, my mother enjoyed clothing. The Lords...did whatever they thought would amuse them the most."

"I'm sure if you asked me before the semester I would've been shocked if you'd say I'd wind up forming some sort of... weird coven." She smirks.

"Snuck up on me, but I think I'm starting to like it all."
