And Now, Here's A Report On The Weather

A strange sight greets those who wander past Vivienne and Gemma's door. Leaning against the bottom of the door is a large sheaf of weather maps. They're clipped together with a binder clip and some of them have markings on them in various colored markers.

Vivienne returned from the village with her shopping. She'd bought two more blankets for herself and Gemma now that the nights were turning colder. She paused with a smile as she picked up the packet of maps.

All the marked ones were on the top of the stack. The various notes indicated that some areas were "warmer than average" or "colder than average" or "strange weather pattern: new industry?" There were several marked "unseasonably cold" or "unseasonably warm".

Vivienne quickly looked through the maps. She'd narrowed down three possible locations, two very likely and one less so within England earlier, now she was double checking.
"Llyn y Fan Fach...Llyn Llydaw...or Llyn Ogwen...surely not..it's right off a main road...too public." She softly muttered to herself.
