Xaviers!

Wanda cradles a hot mug in her hands, inhaling deeply of the steam as she looks out through one of the common room windows. She sighs and takes a sip of the liquid, testing the heat. That thing in London was preying on her mind. Some part of her knows she should know the woman from the club, but she can't pull the scattered pieces together to form the picture. It's the frustration of putting together a puzzle without all the pieces and it's boiling off her like the steam off her drink.

Vivienne moved quietly around the small kitchenette int he common room. She filled a kettle and set it to boil as she set a very large mug and two tea bags at the ready. Since the last times Vivienne encountered Wanda there had be localized disasters and now the young woman looked to be deep in thought, so Viv proceeded carefully, she uncharacteristically cleared her throat and smiled waiting for Wanda to turn.

Wanda takes another sip of her drink before turning to face the sound. "Hello, Vivienne."

"Wanda, I wanted a chance to...thank you, properly for your maps, but I do not wish to disturb you, you looked troubled."

Wanda waves it away, "Complicated issues. I didn't get the chance to thank *you* for your part in saving me from the vampires."

"I said I would, though you leaving campus and going right to them sort of defeated the plan to keep you out of their reach in the first place, but you are here and you are whole. That is what counts."

"Whole is perhaps too generous, but I'm largely sound. I... don't even remember why I went to them in the first place."

"I believe you went after Miriam. Something about her choosing for you and trying to protect you. I was a little preoccupied at the time but Samantha and Miriam...um took the fight inside."

Wanda frowns a bit and shakes her head, "Name doesn't mean anything to me, but I'll have to take everyone's word for it I think. I think that may be who Isolde and I ran into in London recently."

"Strange."

Viv took the time to fill her mug, sugar its' contents and rejoin Wanda.

"Dark hair, very pretty and now, very pale. A telepath in life...I suppose in death as well. You were very close from what I witnessed and they used her affection for you and your affection for her. It is a familiar tactic."

"That more or less describes who we ran into. That altercation caused a serious panic in the club crowd."

"Ah, yes. I can imagine an encounter would be most chaotic, for many, many reasons. Brave of you to take a wolf to a club in the first place, you must have made quit an impression on her."

"She's... it's complicated. The simplest term to use is she's my 'guardian'. We're still figuring out what all that means. Part of that was doing something in public together."

"A purposeless wolf is a danger. If guarding you is her purpose, then it is a good one." She sipped at her tea.

"It's apparently a thing that people like me shouldn't do without. Apparently runes and bending the weather to your will will only get you so far when something just needs punching."

"Less global ramifications in a fist fight. One reason I carry a sword, I can do some serious damage to modern utilities, apparently the entire block the hive was on was without water for a week. There are self-defense classes you could take, for your own peace of mind if you wished."

"I took some at the Institute when I was there. I may need to go through a refresher though."

"Always a good idea to have more tools to pull from in a crisis. A sudden fist to the jaw is always a viable option when a lightening bolt is not."

"Maybe I actually need to consider signing up for the X-Men. With some refreshers, I could probably make the cut."

"If that is what you wish to do, that is a noble endeavor...then if you have been wise and once you have retired, you can buy an island off somewhere and have perfect weather all year for the rest of your life."

"I don't think there's that much money in doing it. I do have a cabin in Sweden though that may have my name on it by then."

"A solid retirement plan. Also, if you should wish, you may accompany me north in a few weeks. Because of your maps I was able to narrow down two possible locations of interest."

"I would have to take Isolde with me," Wanda says, "And I'm not sure I"m comfortable enough to do that yet. Especially since I imagine Sam and Tereza will be with you. I'd hate to have to separate two werewolves if they got angry with each other."

"It is best not to try, simply clean up afterwards. Avoiding potential situations is wise. If you do not join us, I do still have a gift for you."

"I've been told to beware of fey offering gifts, but I'll gladly accept one from you," she says with a soft smile.
