That was mostly with the 'fine motor skills' task of getting his fly undone. He was obviously forcing down a childish smirk and completely failing at it. He was also avoiding eye contact as that would just make it worse.

Colette was gentle and perhaps a little sensual, but didn't push things too far; after all, emotions had been very high that week, and going too fast could lead to reopening old wounds - physical and emotional.

Basil made it through without embarrassing himself too badly, then looked at Colette.

"How are you most comfortable? You on top or I?"

"Well if it is all ze same to you, I have found zat I am razer fond of spooning.

<"Would you be my little spoon tonight?">

Basil seemed reluctant at first, but sussed it out in his head.

<"Okay. But you might have to make yourself taller...">

Colette played with Basil's hair a little bit more. "Oh, zat is easy enough to do... do you like taller women Basil?"

"No, not necessarily." Basil replied.

"I just figured it's called spooning because people are resting against each other, and tiny spoon in back might be an awkward fit for you if you were your normal height." He made some kind of weird hand shapes in front of his own face to demonstrate his logic.

Basil could be incredibly hard to read in terms of turn ons. Outside of the now obvious fact he was a kinkster, he didn't really go into specifics about what he found attractive with anyone, her included.

"Well from what I have read, a lot of guys enjoy being ze little spoon on occasion, but it is assumed of zem zat zey have to be ze big spoon.

"Besides, it is not as zough I have to worry about bending my nose out of shape against your back."

"Whatever suits." He replied, and climbed into Colette's bed since it was clear he needed to be there first.

Colette slipped out of her shoes and gently slid into bed behind Basil in a way that one could not do if one had bones, the young woman wrapping her arms around his chest as she pressed herself to his back and shoulders.

"How is zis? Comfortable?" She asked in a very soft, quiet voice, a pink jelly tendril from her hair reaching out to turn off the light.

"Yes,this is fine." He murmured as he got comfortable again against her, readying to sleep.
