"There was this temporal anomaly gobbling up Maldon and spitting out stuff from across history. So while the others were busy punching Nazis, I needed to whip up something to stabilize the anomaly. It worked, but I overloaded Miss Minamida's prototype power cell and we... and apparently a few dinosaurs... ended up in ancient Ireland for just over a week. It was like a very smelly Doctor Who episode."

Ainsley tried hard to find something equally as impressive that he'd done.

"Once I sneaked popcorn chicken into the theater?" He shrugged.

He smiled. "Don't worry. Stick around here long enough and you'll have a crazy adventure too."

"Before I joined the Xavier's family, my biggest concern was avoiding getting bullied."

Tosh snorted a laugh. "I'm not entirely sure I actually want to imagine that."

"Are rat thoughts sneaky or just 'food food food food CAT!'?"

"I guess that makes sense. The way they group together and all."

"Ooh! Have you ever talked to a shark?"

"Are they friendly when not hungry? And kinda dumb?" he asked with a small smirk.

"Which brings us to my ability to shift into a big, friendly muscleheaded sharkman... and now sometimes a ferret."

Ainsley did not type anything. He was pretty such his completely baffled face said everything he would be capable of typing and then some.

"Yeah, I know my powerset is atypical. And that's only the tip of the weirdberg," he chuckled.

"I'd show you the big guy but I like this outfit. The little guy I could though."

Ainsley nodded slowly and stared intently.

"Alrighty," Tosh said as he stood back up, "Oh. And he has a cowboy accent... because my brain is weird."

He shrunk into his clothes and the blue & white wereferret wriggled out of the pile.

"Howdy."

After a moment, Tosh would hear a faint voice in his mind.

"Hello?"

"Well butter my fuckin' biscuits... didn't reckon I was animal enough for that!" he grinned.

"Worth a try." He replied, shrugging.

"Worked on Shari, she is alien soooo..." His words seemed as broken up as they were in text, perhaps due to the tenuous connection between the two due to him being a shifter and not a full blown animal. His mental voice was deep, his accent slightly cockney.
